00:00Traditionally in India, sadhus would forbid themselves from staying too long at any one
00:05place.
00:06They would just keep travelling.
00:07Buddha and Mahavir, the great ascetics, they travelled all their life.
00:11In Guru Nanak made voyages, long distance travelled, the east to the south, to the west.
00:17That's one kind of travelling in which you are already full of joy and you are travelling
00:22to disseminate that joy.
00:24You are travelling so that even others may have that joy.
00:27And then there is the travelling tourist, the average traveller.
00:31What does travel give him?
00:33Some consolation, some very feeble support to enable him to carry on with his otherwise
00:39wretched life.
00:40Once a year, twice a year, he saves money to travel and not much good comes out of that
00:45travel because he is not internally complete.
00:49Even the earth discloses its real treasures only to the spiritually accomplished ones.
00:55To the spiritually accomplished one, the earthly living itself is heavenly.
00:59And that would also tell you what is hell.
01:01The one who is not spiritually accomplished, to him, the earth itself is hell.
