13:57Today, now, we get down to business in the finals of the King of the Ring.
14:02In the year 2008, Randy Orton joined forces with Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr.
14:25In a group that would be called Legacy.
14:27Over their two years together, Orton won three world championships and a Royal Rumble.
14:33Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase won two tag team titles.
14:37Rhodes and DiBiase would kick Orton out of the group in the year 2010.
14:41They would then do battle and one-on-one action.
14:44And over the years, Orton owns a 7-3 singles record against Cody Rhodes.
14:49Will that change tonight in the finals of the King of the Ring tournament?
14:54Cody Rhodes, very successful in Riyadh back in November.
15:23He won the first ever Crown Jewel Championship.
15:26For Randy Orton, it's about some retribution tonight.
15:28Last year, Wade, in the finals of the King of the Ring tournament, he lost to Guilter in a very controversial manner.
15:35Guilter would go on to SummerSlam to win the world title.
15:38Yeah, the final of the King of the Ring tournament last year was absolute BS, in my opinion.
15:43A massive refereeing error.
15:45And to a lot of people, Randy Orton is the sentimental favourite title, right last year's run.
15:51There are no words to describe the atmosphere inside the Kingdom Arena tonight.
16:20But it is absolutely electric.
16:23So for the first time in 12 years, these two men go one-on-one.
16:34They might not need us to tonight, Cole.
16:36I think this audience is going to do it for us.
16:38Winner of this match heads to SummerSlam.
16:42The first weekend of August, MetLife Stadium in New Jersey to take on the undisputed WWE Champion since both of these men are from Friday Night SmackDown.
16:51Could be Cena, could be Punk.
16:52We find out later on tonight.
16:54And Orton now with a shoulder tackle.

17:00I'll tell you, right off the bat, from the entrances, I saw so much nerves in the eyes of both Cody and Randy.
17:06It's astounding, considering where they've both been previously in their careers.
17:11But it's off many times.
17:13I don't know whether it's the stakes of this match or whether it's the fact that you're probably going to have to do some heinous things to a good friend of yours at some point tonight.
17:23If you're going to be successful.
17:24It's also the fact that you're getting screwed over by John Cena.
17:27Both of these men, Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania, Randy Orton back at his hometown of St. Louis at Backlash.
17:32They'd love to get their hands on Cena again if Cena survives tonight.
17:36And I'm sure CM Punk might have something to say about that in tonight's main event.
17:40We'll see how that goes.
17:42But right now, you need to put yourself in pole position for SummerSlam.
17:45And Wade, mentioned before, these two know each other very well.
17:49They've had a legacy together.
17:51However, first time in 12 years they've gone one-on-one.
17:54So still a feeling out process, so to speak.
17:56Yeah, they know each other incredibly well.
17:58And I promise you, they've studied each other incredibly well.
18:01Even if they haven't been competing against each other.
18:05But for me at this point, we've felt each other out briefly.

18:14That's beating the hell out of this man stood across the ring.

19:55And Randy Orton clearly in some sort of pain here.

20:00Right there Randy realizes he may be in trouble.
20:02As he moves to the ropes and grab for his lower back.
20:05And that could be a nerve issue.
20:06Of course Randy Orton has had major lower back issues in the past.
20:10That lumbar spine that kept him out for about 12 months.
20:13Not so long ago.
20:15May have tweaked something there.
20:17And Cody Rhodes now stalking his man.
20:20Randy Orton.
20:20And goes right to the lower back and the kidney.
20:22Yeah it's all fair game.

20:24Disaster kick by Cody.
20:26God it could be a disaster for Randy Orton here.

20:32That was a weak, weak kick out.

23:27All that pressure goes on the lumbar spine.

24:33Now there are occasions when you tweak something early in the match that over time as the body warms up.

24:48It can numb that injury to an extent.
24:51And Randy is clearly hoping that is the case here.
24:55And Orton looking to drape Cody over the second rope.
25:00The WWE's apex predator was going for the uh.
25:02Oh that draping DDT and Cody went right back to the back.
25:07And another shot to the kidneys.
25:10Got to be ruthless here if you're Cody Rhodes.

25:14And it really is that slight turn of speed for Randy Orton that is now gone completely.
25:29And that was the difference there in allowing Cody Rhodes back into the match when it looked like Randy was starting to build a little bit of momentum.
25:37You just cannot capitalize on the damage you cause to Cody if you can't move quick enough to get the next shot in.
25:51Cody now heading up for the top rope now.
25:54And the last Cody cutter.
25:55Is that enough to put Orton away?
25:58Randy stays in it again.
26:00And now Cody Rhodes beginning to maybe question himself.
26:04What do I need to do to put Randy away?
26:05Well that is the sweetest sight in the world if you're Cody Rhodes and a viper in agony.
26:16And Cody deathly maneuvering to the top rope.
26:20Executing yet another Cody cutter.
26:23Randy in big big trouble.
26:25Well Hall of Famers over the years have been king of the ring.
26:29Ten world champions have been king of the ring.
26:32The best of the best have won this tournament crown.

26:42And Cody.
26:44Ends up on the apron.
26:45Kick right to the midsection by Orton.
26:46Randy's got him where he wants him.
