00:22Thanks.
00:24The question posed is that is it permissible to sell wedding cards
00:29with photographs of gods of non-muslims.
00:33Actually the god for muslim and non-muslim is the same as Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
00:36If you are saying that the god with the non-muslim worship
00:39that's a different thing.
00:41So god of the non-muslim is the same Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
00:44God of all the human beings is Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
00:47But I don't want to question all that
00:48can you sell wedding cards
00:50on which there are photos of gods
00:54which are worshipped by non-muslims.
00:56The answer to this is no.
00:57You cannot sell cards or sell goods
01:02on which there are photographs of the gods
01:06which are worshipped by non-muslims.
01:08They are in shirk
01:09and you are promoting it.
01:10If you are selling them cards
01:12with photographs of the gods
01:14who they think are gods
01:15and they worship and you sell it to them
01:16what are you doing?
01:17You are helping them in shirk.
01:19It's totally haraam.
01:21And there are various fatwas

01:29You cannot take part in the celebration.
01:31You cannot help them
01:32to give them goods
01:35in which they are involved
01:38in doing wrong activities
01:39during the festival.
01:40Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is very clear
01:42in Surah Maida
01:43chapter number 5 verse number 2
01:45that help one another
01:46in bir and taqwa
01:48in righteousness
01:49and piety
01:51but do not help one another
01:53in sin and rancor.
01:55So what I mean?
01:56You are giving them
01:57wedding cards
01:58with the photographs
01:59of the false gods
02:01which they worship.
02:02This is shirk.
02:03So helping them
02:03with your shirk.
02:05So you cannot sell
02:06any goods
02:07which promote
02:09things which are haram
02:10and selling wedding cards
02:13or birthday cards
02:14or festival cards

02:19or even selling goods
02:21which help them
02:22to celebrate
02:22the non-muslim festivals
02:24encourage them

02:28saying that Christmas sale
02:29or saying that
02:31there is a Diwali sale
02:32and you are giving
02:33discount
02:33and trying to allure them.
02:35You can give them
02:36discount.
02:37There is no problem
02:37but giving discount
02:38because it is Diwali
02:39or giving discount
