00:00In the last few years, we had an entire movie in India.
00:03But it was in the last few years.
00:05But what happened was that, the whole story was not a mystery.
00:08But, I mean, it was not a mystery.
00:12So, let's go.
00:13What's wonderful about the four love stories is that Basuda has used situations that I think everyone can connect with.
00:21You know, situations that you face in a big city.
00:23And I think everyone can connect with one story or the other.
00:27As far as my experience with modern love, I think the only thing that has probably changed is technology and the fact that we communicate in new ways.
00:36We have phones in our pocket, we are hyper connected.
00:38So maybe that has some effect it plays on relationships in today's day and age.
00:42And that's also an aspect of a story that Sir has explored in Konkana and Pankatsa's track where the mobile phone can clear true and you know in a relationship.
00:55So that has changed and that probably changes dynamics and for you to adjust to that hyper connectivity.
01:02So maybe that's one thing.
01:03Have you discovered anything new?
01:05I have discovered this.
01:07Only this.
01:07And relationships in the age of social media, a lot has changed.
01:11Thank you, Adi.
01:12Sarah, over to you.
01:13I think you have pretty much summed it up.
01:16But yeah, I think that because maybe of the phone nowadays, where we know where the other person is all the time.
01:24But when we're with them, are we really with them?
01:28So I think that what at least I'm discovering and it's not just about love.
01:31I think it's about any interpersonal relationship.
01:34It's about being as honest as you can in the moment.
01:38You know, and I think that having real conversations, just like being there because that is not reality.
01:45This is, you know, I think we tend to forget that.
01:49The first day on Basuda's set where one was thrown into, you know, just the world that he creates and it was just so lovely.
01:58It was such a privilege.
01:59Adi has worked with him before.
02:00So I think he was very comfortable with this way of working.
02:05But I think that, like, you know, he was saying earlier, that once you get used to this way of working, it's very liberating.
02:12So I think it must be my first day.
02:15We did a musical portion of the film.
02:18And it was a lot of fun.
02:21And, yeah, I think that was it.
02:23That's great.
02:23That's great.
02:24And for you.
02:25You know, honestly, every day is memorable.
02:27Leon said with, with, with, something or the other happens that you never knew was going to happen.
02:31It's always some kind of discovery.
02:33The scene goes into a place you never thought it would go.
02:36Or he asks you to do something that you never knew you were going to be asked to do.
02:39So you, the main thing is you should sleep well and come so that you're ready.
02:43You can concentrate and you can do something on the fly.
02:46Every day is a fun day.
02:47But, yes, we, we had a fun time for the first three days because that's why we shot this musical, which was a new kind of way of shooting a song for, for all of us.
02:55Suddenly, it seemed to break into song and then go back into dialogue.
02:58It was something that was challenging, but lots of fun as well.
03:01He's done films like this before, whether it's Metro, whether it's Ludo.
03:06And I think he knows how to give his characters and his actors a lot of space, a lot of respect.
03:12And I think that we're storytellers and we're part of the story.
03:15And as long as we keep that in mind, I personally don't see the room for insecurity.
03:21There's enough pressure any time you're making a movie as it is.
03:25So you shouldn't be looking for more, more reasons to apply pressure on yourself.
03:29You should be looking for things to remove pressure from yourself.
03:32So I don't think there was any reason to take any baggage.
03:36Because the stories were so unique and new.
03:39And Dala was coming to it with a completely new slate.
03:42That there was no reason to think of, think of that.
03:45Now when we're promoting, we realize, wow, it's such a love film.
03:49You know, it's not that we didn't know that.
03:50But now one feels like, yes, people are connecting the two.
03:53But when we were shooting it, we didn't keep the fact that it's a sequel in our mind.
03:58You're just approaching it like a fresh piece of work.
04:00Also, I'd just like to add that, I mean, you know, they're much like the first one.
04:06I think that there are four different love stories across different ages, across different stages.
04:11And so long as you find even one story from this, and I think you'll find maybe more than one that you can relate to.
04:19That's all we can do, tell real, relatable, honest stories and give our best.
04:22Experience on Basuda's film is always going to be unique.
04:25He has his own unique way of working.
04:28And the fact is it works, you know, it works for him.
04:31So yes, no, he would definitely give you a detailed outline of your story, of the beats of your story.
04:37He'll give you a detailed kind of synopsis, detailed synopsis, speak to you about your character, about the essence of the character.
04:45So you know exactly the kind of guy you're playing.
04:49But yes, he doesn't fully give you a bounce clip before.
04:53And that's his method.
04:55And once you've been on a set with him after two, three days, you get used to it and then you enjoy it.
05:00Because again, it's a way of removing pressure.
05:03You don't know what you're shooting the next day, how will you feel pressure?
05:05Yeah, it's good fun.
05:09It was wonderful.
05:10It all happened in a very impromptu way.
05:11We were not planning on, you know, there's a small musical part in the movie where they said,
05:16come and just sing, maybe it'll help you in lip syncing.
05:18And I got into the studio and they seemed to think that my voice was sounding good.
05:23They said, yeah, keep going, you know.
05:26So I was supposed to sing, I think, one or two lines.
05:28I ended up singing the whole thing.
05:30And that's what's ended up being in the film.
05:31So I'm glad it happened in an impromptu fashion.
05:35I didn't overthink it.
05:37I just was in the moment and I sang the song.
05:40And I'm excited.
05:41I'm excited to see what people think.
05:43It's a very quirky song, to say the least.
05:45When you see it, you know what I mean.
05:47We can't tell you the subject matter.
05:50But I'm very happy to have done it and hopefully I'll do a few more now, now that the ice has been broken.
05:57A p- pumpkin.
06:00You can have done it.
06:01You can even see it again.
06:02I'm worried about it.
06:03I'm 100 chicken feet.
06:04I think, yeah, constantly across this çok daha few can do a little bit.
06:06I mean, don't ever.
06:07I mean, it's a in our place.
06:08I think it's 100 Started, then.
06:09It's after you're both running.
06:10I just awry.
06:11There's an obstacle to take place with these people who can get there,
06:13and I think it's a very nice job right.
06:18Because during this game, I just want to start.
06:19So I did a very interesting thing.
06:22I won't even go on a photo.
06:23But I'll look at it.
06:24And it's…
06:25So I until I 이것도 & I don't know some of these
