Has Trump committed an impeachable act?
Transcript
00:00So Trump has officially put a stamp on it.
00:04If you are Canadian or American, you're going to want to watch this.
00:09Let's go!
00:16What up, what up? Welcome to another episode.
00:19I'm Steve Stacks.
00:21Let's get into the latest news.
00:23So glad you guys can join me again.
00:25We're obviously talking about Trump again.
00:27And his stupid new statement saying that he does not want to talk about tariffs with Canada ever again.
00:39Now, it doesn't say ever or permanently.
00:42But that is absolutely what this article is implying.
00:50So as we look at the headlines there.
00:52Trump, as of June 27th, today, at around 2.30, made a statement saying that he was no longer going to discuss or be in negotiations with any of the tariffs that he imposes on us.
01:11He's officially put a stamp on it.
01:18Now, putting a stamp on ending all negotiations dealing with trade tariff talk.
01:23That is, I'm sure that's a first for America.
01:28Like, we're your number one allies and, you know, you officially cut us off from ever talking about tariffs with you ever again.
01:38Like, that's definitely a step in the wrong direction for both USA and for Canada.
01:44Now, I don't know if these guys can patch this up ever again.
01:49But we certainly hope so.
01:52Like, and soon.
01:53Because, you know, it's not looking better by the day with this guy.
01:57He's coming out with these absolute out of mind moves.
02:04Bold moves here that are just crippling both sides.
02:07Because, I don't see how this is going to help America any better, you know.
02:14So, this, so him making that statement, this is exactly what it means.
02:24It means that he will not ever hold any discussions over, in a meeting or over a phone call, ever.
02:34So, if he decides to impose 200% tariffs that are going to hurt both sides, we can't even stick up for ourselves and change his mind for, you know, helping out the American people as well.
02:49So, you know, it's just all Trump acting like a king here, pretty much, right?
02:55He doesn't want to hear from his own people.
02:57He doesn't want to hear from us.
02:59Whatever he says goes.
03:01There's no debating anything.
03:03That's very king-like.
03:04If you ask me, right?
03:07Because every, every government since the beginning of USA, okay, has had, you know, trade negotiations always open.
03:20With every country, pretty much.
03:22So, even if you don't like a country, the negotiations are still going to be flowing freely.
03:27But this guy completely stops it, like, how is that not an impeachable act right there, right?
03:34We talk about impeachable acts.
03:36That's an impeachable act, man.
03:38This guy needs to get ousted.
03:40Now.
03:41Right?
03:42Before any more people get harmed.
03:43It's like a best friend saying they don't want to speak to you ever again out of nowhere, right?
03:52That's just an incredible thing to happen.
03:55And, again, I don't think it's ever happened in U.S. history where they cut off Canada.
04:01Maybe another country.
04:02But, clearly, I don't remember USA ever stopping trade negotiations with Canada.
04:10Right?
04:28So, let's take a look at some of these slides here.
04:36In a Truth Social post Friday afternoon.
04:39Mr. Trump abruptly broke off talks which Prime Minister Mark Carney has said were aimed at reaching a deal by late July.
04:53So, he's leading our Prime Minister into thinking that it's going to get closer to, you know, reaching a better deal at some point.
05:03And then he throws a curveball like this, right?
05:05He throws a fucking curveball.
05:07I don't get it.
05:09He's always throwing these curveballs and it's for the, you know, for the worst for both sides.
05:15It's, it's just unimaginable, right?
05:20Based on this, a Regis tax, we are hereby terminating all discussions on trade with Canada.
05:31Effective immediately.
05:32Mr. Trump wrote, we will let Canada know the tariff that they will be paying to do business with the United States of America within the next seven day period.
05:45This is exactly what I was saying probably about three months ago.
05:53He's going to try and create this Embargo Act.
05:57And if you don't know what the Embargo Act is, go look it up.
06:00So, obviously you heard it if you watched my last video, Canada is set to start levying the digital services tax next week.
06:10Mr. Trump said Canada is already a very difficult country to, to, to trade with because of its protected dairy industry.
06:26So, this is the problem already.
06:30He's worried about one little industry, the dairy industry, okay?
06:34We don't need your dairy, right?
06:40Dairy is one of our biggest industries and we service ourselves with that one.
06:45So, and if he's talking about us supplying you, you are the bigger country, you know, for us to supply our own people and to supply, subsidize you as well, you know, that would be an extremely difficult thing to do.
07:04And you would think somewhere in USA there are, there are farms and you could produce your own eggs and your own, you know, milk or whatever you guys are importing.
07:13Anyway, he described the digital services tax as a direct and blatant attack on our country.
07:22Again, this here, I could, I could counter it by saying when we bring a country, when we bring a business into USA, it doesn't make that much money.
07:34But when we have an American company over here, you know, it makes a lot more than what our businesses would do there, okay?
07:43Now, whether that means you guys are more patriotic or not, I don't know.
07:49But the point is, you guys are always winning, right?
07:54Whether it's we, our stuff coming across the border there or you guys having, you know, a business over here.
08:02Where it just, it never amounts to Canadians making more than Americans, you know?
08:09So, he's kind of saying, you know, it's a really big attack on your country.
08:13But really, the fact is, you know, everything over here that's American makes more money than Canadian stuff almost, right?
08:22So, the Canadian government will continue to engage in these complex negotiations with the United States in the best interest of Canadian workers and businesses, the statement said.
08:42Canada refuses to pause digital sales tax as trade talks with U.S. continue Friday.
08:49Canada is already disproportionately hit by Mr. Trump's tariffs of 50% on steel and aluminum and 25% on the autos, okay?
09:05So, us implementing a new tax here, you know, or tariff, and I don't think it's 25% or even close to that.
09:19And we're going after a company that can take a hit like that.
09:22So, it says later on here, here it is.
09:27These are the biggest companies pretty much in America almost, the digital companies in America, okay?
09:33We've got Amazon that's going to take the hit, Meta, Google, Uber, and Airbnb, okay?
09:40So, these companies taking a little extra tax, you know, is not, not the end of the world, and Trump is trying to make it out to be, right?
09:54Make it look like that to his own people.
09:56I don't know who he thinks he's fooling at this point.
09:58Nobody is fooled by this guy, in my opinion, right?
10:01Like, he could tell you the sky is falling, and some people will still believe him, but in the end, you know, most of us know by now, he's just doing, like, purely incriminating things, you know?
10:13These are criminal acts, I'm telling you.
10:17He has no respect for anything.
10:19Other countries that are your allies, his own system, the Constitution, you know?
10:26Just going against everybody in this presidency here, in this term, so...
10:31Wake up, man.
10:33Wake up.
10:35Mr. Carney, Prime Minister Carney, has had, has so far held back many of Canada's retaliatory tariffs in a bid to spare Canadians more economic pain, while he tries to reach a deal with Mr. Trump.
10:54So, we can only hold off for so long, right?
10:56So, Canada, better shape up quick, before he launches a new round of tariffs that cripple us even more.
11:10I've been seeing a rise in prices at the grocery stores quite a bit, but some are not even American companies.
11:19So, I'm not sure if that's even related to this, because, you know, I'm sure these companies have some type of reason for raising the prices, right?
11:31So, I'm talking about, like, an Italian brand, you know?
11:35It's just, they're going up.
11:37So, whether it goes first to USA, a USA trader, and then it gets shipped to us, maybe that's the reason.
11:47But if it goes directly from Italy to Canada, we should not see this rise at the grocery stores.
11:55So, Canada definitely has to shape up, you know, or else we're going to take a hit here.
12:03And we already know we're taking hits because we have, you know, lost a job, jobs, and it's incredible what's happening right now.
12:14Him doing this to us is his way of saying, I don't ever want to hear that word, Canada, ever again.
12:22Like a child that doesn't like a word.
12:26It must take a lot of hate to do both of these things that he's done.
12:30And then there's Wayne Gretzky.
12:34Okay, there's Wayne Gretzky there, who probably talks to this guy quite a bit.
12:40And still doesn't seem to care about doing anything for Canada here.
12:45Because he hasn't spoke out yet, and he hasn't stopped being his friend.
12:51So, what's up with that, Wayne?
12:53And another face that we see a lot, and he doesn't seem to stand up to Trump either, and he's Canadian, is Kevin O'Leary.
13:05What's up with that?
13:07So, Kevin O'Leary obviously does a lot of business in USA, but at the end of the day, you are Canadian.
13:12And if you really are patriotic, what the fuck are you doing?
13:18You're just going to sit back and let it happen?
13:20At least open your mouth a little bit.
13:23But obviously, he can't even do that because he's so attached to so many American companies.
13:29And he's probably, again, buddy-buddy with Trump, right?
13:31So, that's another face that, you know, you won't see standing up for Canada ever, right?
13:40Because if he did, he would have done so by now.
13:44The Prime Minister and his advisory council talked about the challenges that the auto, steel, aluminum, and forestry industries are facing because of U.S. tariffs.
13:56There's a lot of pain going on in certain sectors, and we are likely to have more tariffs before we get to some place.
14:07So, people should bear that all in mind, he added.
14:11So, it doesn't matter almost what sector you're in.
14:15You're on the chopping block as long as Trump is in charge, right?
14:20So, everybody in Canada, watch your back, and even in America, because he will definitely do more tariffs in the next three and a half years that he's going to be there, if he makes it that long.
14:38Goldie Hyder, president of the Business Council of Canada, said that he has warned the government for some time that the digital tax would not go over well with the Trump administration.
14:50That unfortunate development has now come to pass in an effort to get trade negotiations back on track.
15:01Canada should put forward an immediate proposal to eliminate the digital tax in exchange for an elimination of tariffs from the United States.
15:12That's their plan, so, you know, the only way that they're going to stop that one is if Trump gives in a little, but we'll see.
15:24This is actually becoming a serious trade war, I guess, as of today.
15:28So, this is a date in history.
15:34So, this is a date in history that we are going to want to mark on the calendar there, because it's just going to get worse.
15:45There's no way Trump is going to eat his own words on any of these.
15:48He has done it in the past, but him putting his foot down today and putting a stamp on it today is absolutely going to tell us more of what to see in the future.
16:01Now, guys, you can see it right here.
