00:00I think it's been completely demolished.
00:02I think the reason we're here is because those pilots, those B2 pilots, did an unbelievable job.
00:08And, you know, the fake news, like CNN in particular, they're trying to, you know, they're trying to say,
00:13well, I agree that it was destroyed, but maybe not that destroyed.
00:17You know what they're doing? They're really hurting great pilots that put their lives in the line.
00:21CNN is scum, and so is MS, DNC, they're all.
00:25And frankly, the networks aren't much better.
00:27It's all fake news, but they should not have done that.
00:31U.S. President Donald Trump has unleashed a fiery tirade, not at a political opponent, but at a journalist.
00:40In a blistering post on Truth Social, Trump demanded the firing of CNN reporter Natasha Bertrand,
00:48accusing her of spreading lies and undermining the U.S. military.
00:54But what triggered this explosive reaction?
00:57Let's break it down.
00:59Trump never went to Minceworth's, called Bertrand a liar, a disgrace, and said she should be thrown out like a dog.
01:09He slammed CNN as a fake news network, claiming Bertrand had ruined the reputation of the once-reviewed outlet.
01:18The president accused her of botching two major stories, the infamous laptop from hell story, and now a breaking report on U.S. military strikes in Iran.
01:32Trump insisted that American pilots did a great job and achieved total obliteration, contradicting Bertrand's reporting, which cited U.S. intelligence assessments suggesting otherwise.
01:46Earlier that day, Natasha published a CNN exclusive.
01:50According to a preliminary data, the U.S. air strikes on Iranian nuclear sites did not cripple Iran's nuclear program, only set it back by months.
02:00This directly challenged Trump's bold claims of a decisive blow to Tehran's nuclear ambitions.
02:08Trump fired back, accusing Bertrand of smearing U.S. Patriot pilots and distorting the truth for political motives.
02:16It was, I believe it was total obliteration.
02:20I believe they didn't have a chance to get anything out because we acted fast.
02:23If it would have taken two weeks, maybe, but it's very hard to remove that kind of material.
02:29Very hard and very dangerous for them to remove it.
02:31Plus, they knew we were coming.
02:33And if they know we're coming, they're not going to be down there.
02:37There aren't too many people that are going to be down there.
02:40CNN wasted no time defending their journalist.
02:43In a statement to The Hill, the network said they stand 100% behind Natasha Bertrand's journalism,
02:50praising her and her colleagues for accurately reporting the initial findings of U.S. intelligence.
02:56They stress that their reporting clearly labeled the assessment as preliminary.
03:01And since then, other top outlets, including the AP, Reuters and the New York Times, have confirmed similar conclusions.
03:09CNN added that criticizing journalists for responsibly reporting verified intelligence is not reasonable
03:17and goes against the public interest.
03:21As the war of words escalate between a president and the free press, one thing is clear.
03:27This battle isn't just about facts.
03:30It's about power, credibility and control of the narrative.
