Summary:
Makoto Mizuhara, his teacher Mr. Fujisawa, his rival Jinnai, and his friend Nanami—who are transported from their high school to the fantastical world of El Hazard. They become embroiled in a conflict between the human nations and the insectoid Bugrom tribe, with Makoto and Fujisawa allying with the Kingdom of Roshtaria, while Jinnai joins the Bugrom. The group must navigate this new world, gain powers, and find a way back home while facing Jinnai's schemes and the threat of the demon god Ifurita.
