00:00The 26th Street Garage is the FBI's greatest untold story of 9-11.

00:10This video, shot by the FBI from its New York headquarters,

00:14has never been seen by the public.

00:16This is a f***ing tragedy in the middle.

00:18Oh, man, the other one's in the middle. Oh, my God!

00:23All of the buildings in the immediate area were being evacuated.

00:26You have to have a nerve center, a location.

00:28And we had to have one very quickly.

00:31I want it secured and close to ground zero.

00:35The agents reluctantly said,

00:37well, we could go to the 26th Street Garage.

00:43I remember walking up the ramp, opening the door to this massive space.

00:48You can smell oil and smell brake fluid.

00:50At first, I was actually thinking, how the hell is this gonna work?

00:53As agents arrive in droves, FBI logistics teams tow out 500 cars to make room.

01:00I was pretty frightened when I first saw the building with the new occupants.

01:06They set up the computers. They ran the lines.

01:09Banks of telephones. Miles of wire.

01:12You could see the guns clearly over the parapets.

01:16This was warfare.

01:17I thought, well, either we are a target or we are protected.

01:21Clues are coming in.

01:23And they're all going into a funnel.

01:24And the funnel's narrow end is coming into the 26th Street Garage.

01:29On 9-11, one of the passports of one of the hijackers was found a block or so from one of the towers.

01:36This is a number that one of the hijackers called 15 times in the first week.

01:41Names are going up. Charts are being made.

01:43Whiteboards are being drawn. Lines are being connected.

01:46Suspects are being interrogated.

01:48I said, Mr. Moussao, you're here with us in custody.

01:51And if people are hurt, you are going to be held accountable.

01:55Who else is a sleeper cell somewhere waiting for the instructions to attack?
