Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's season for the ages

Thunder star SGA joined an elite group by winning NBA MVP, Finals MVP and a scoring title in the same season.

00:00At the end of the day, that's going to go down in history as one of the greatest seasons that's ever been had by a player.

00:22It's hard to believe that I'm part of that group.

00:26It's hard to even fathom that I'm that type of basketball player sometimes.

00:31As a kid, you dream and every kid dreams, but you don't ever really know if it's going to come true.

00:37I'm just glad and happy that my dreams have been able to come true.

00:41As far as, you know, like face of the league and best player on best team, he's got that capability.

00:48I mean, clearly the year he's had MVP, Western Conference Finals MVP, Finals MVP champion.

00:55I don't think anybody in here would question his ability.

00:59And I think the thing that sets him apart is he'll probably be hungry for more.

01:02I think he has a unique mindset. I think he gives us a lot of confidence.

01:20I don't think he ever gets too high, he gets too low.

01:23A great leader on and off the court.

01:25But then he also puts the work in.

01:27I've been with a lot of players. I've been with a lot of superstars.

01:29But just how egoless he is really makes him special.

01:34He really makes it a joy to be around.

01:49It's never about him.

01:52It's always about us.

01:54It's always about winning.

01:56And his talent shines through all that.

01:59And we saw that all year.

02:01He's a hell of a basketball player, but he's an even better person.

02:15Those are the minutes, those are the moments when the best players, the biggest stars, the superstars, the all-of-fame players make their name.

02:22And I want to have that name. I want to have those titles attached to my name.

02:31I want to have those titles and keep them playing.

02:47I want to have two learners.

02:49But that's impressive, for too, not

02:54so I think we can really imagine.
