The game is hanging in the balance after the stumps on Day 3 of the first Test between India and England in Leeds. England resumed their day with 209-3 with Ollie Pope and Harry Brook at the crease. Indian speedster Prasidh Krishna took the first wicket of the day. The right-arm pacer removed the 27-year-old Ollie Pope for 106 runs. England captain Ben Stokes (28) and Harry Brook stitched a good 51-run stand for the fifth wicket before Mohammed Siraj removed the English skipper. Jamie Smith chipped in with 40 runs as the hosts reached 327/5 at the lunch break. In the second session, Harry Brook was dismissed by Prasidh Krishna for 99 runs. Chris Woakes (38), Brydon Carse (22) and Josh Tongue (11) scored crucial runs with the bat as England were bundled out for 465 runs in response to Team India's 471 in the first innings. With the ball, Jasprit Bumrah claimed his 14th five-wicket haul in Tests. Prasidh Krishna took three wickets for the visitors before tea. In the final session, KL Rahul's unbeaten 47 runs and debutant Sai Sudharsan's 30 helped Team India reach 90/2 in 23.5 overs at stumps on Day 3. The visitors are leading by 96 runs.
