00:00Welcome to the Spring 4x4 Park, Queensland's rugged off-road playground where GWM puts three
00:06off-road titans to the test.
00:08First, the Mickey Thompson Test Track.
00:11Wheel articulation, approach, break-over and departure angles.
00:15It's the perfect proving ground.
00:17The Springs always provides a wild ride.
00:20Next, Tank Hill.
00:21A nice rocky incline with a rewarding view.
00:24Then the ultimate challenge, Beer O'Clock Hill.
00:27Steep, rough, unforgiving.
00:30No second chances.
00:31The first runs?
00:32We did it with basic all-terrain tyres.
00:35The XSR attempting it 100% stock from the factory.
00:39And the hill made sure we'd felt it.
00:41Remember this date, 21 May 2025 is when a box-standard Canon XSR conquered Beer O'Clock Hill.
00:49The second factory-spec vehicle to ever scale this rocky, unforgiving 100m climb.
00:55With some basic all-terrain tyres, the Tank 300 Ultra Diesel conquered Beer O'Clock Hill,
01:01giving our four-wheel drive experts a shock.
01:03Guys, that is an exhilarating ride.
01:06But let's not forget the star of the show.
01:08The recently launched stock Canon Alpha PHEV, with a set of Mickey Thompson's all-terrain tyres,
01:15became the first plug-in hybrid vehicle to conquer Beer O'Clock Hill.
01:19Hi-4T for the win.
01:21That is absolutely incredible, man.
01:23Like, I've seen a lot of vehicles attempt this hill.
01:26Not many in the wet.
01:27It was very impressive.
01:28We're not here to break a vehicle.
01:29We're here to try and get to the top and prove what these cars can do.
01:32Stock suspension, factory components, just a set of tyres, and now Beer O'Clock certified.
01:39For a factory vehicle to drive up Beer O'Clock Hill with the confidence that these vehicles
01:43have, that's a win for me.
01:44We've just smashed that, like seriously, dozens and dozens of times, both of us, confidence
01:49all the way, and that will take us to the airport tonight.
01:51Diesel, petrol hybrid, plug-in hybrid.
01:55No matter how you power it, GWM will get you there, and more importantly, get you back.
02:00GWM, go with more.
