00:04Travis Kelsey is shaking off the speculation.

00:08Amid rumors swirling that he's lost 25 pounds during the NFL offseason,

00:14the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is now setting the record straight.

00:18Telling reporters during a June 18th press conference.

00:22You lost about 25 pounds. What type of work?

00:24First of all, I never said that.

00:25No, no, no.

00:26Don't believe all you read on the internet, guys, all right?

00:30Never told anybody.

00:31I mean, I'm down some weight, yeah, from the end of the season last year.

00:37But each year is different, man.

00:39You've got to rebuild it.

00:40And this year, I've got some time to really focus on some form running

00:45and some things early on in the offseason that I just didn't have time for last year.

00:51And certainly feeling good, and I think it'll pay off, man.

00:54So while the weight loss rumors may be blown out of proportion,

00:57what about the growing speculation that this will be Travis' last season playing football?

01:04The 35-year-old who's previously stated he wasn't ready to hang up his cleats

01:08then gives an update on if he plans to return to the field next year.

01:12I mean, I got one year on this contract.

01:15I know that.

01:16And we'll try and figure out something for next year.

01:19The Chiefs organization knows how much I love them.

01:22I can't see myself ever playing anywhere else.

01:24So we'll deal with that down the road when the time is right.

01:29But right now, I'm focused on winning the championship this year.
