00:00The real you will show up There's a place inside each of us that responds
00:11to good and evil.
00:13What it spends the most time with will ultimately expose what we really believe.
00:18The Bible calls this place the heart, the real you that spills over when it's full.
00:24The heart forms character.
00:26You could spend time with things that are true, honourable, just, pure, lovely, commendable,
00:32excellent, and worthy of praise.
00:34See Philippians 4 verse 8.
00:36Or hang out with things that lead to immorality, theft, murder, greed, malice, deceit, envy,
00:43slander, arrogance, and folly, see Mark 7 verse 22.
00:48The heart is as quick to nurture evil as it is good.
00:52The Bible says we can never fully understand the ways of the heart.
00:56The heart loves emotion.
00:58The mind accepts logic.
01:00However, they can work together to follow God or just pretend for a while.
01:05Your words and actions are always servants of what the heart really believes.
