After years of unsuccessful breeding attempts, one egg finally hatched—marking not only Goliath’s first offspring but the zoo’s first-ever Galápagos tortoise hatchling. The mother, Sweet Pea, is also up to 100 years old, making the pair possibly the oldest first-time parents in history.
