00:00A quick focus of Todd Garner moving up well, and still at the back is the Gary Johnson Escort,

00:12but he's trying to get his way through, but at the moment out front it is Tom Ovenden who leads from Lee Wood.

00:26which I think is Cortina, I think it's sort of YB under the bonnet, and it's going really well.

00:32It seems to lack a little bit of straight line pace at the moment, it's just getting those tyres warm, I'm sure.

00:39It's a very rapid driver. Behind him it's Warren Ferrisman in that kind of petrol-y blue Escort,

00:50can't get past Payton into the S's, and in behind them I can see it's the Castrol car,

00:56which is Mike Thurley. We've got the straggler Fiesta, who's going to get eaten up in a minute,

01:03but it's Ovenden and Wood, and their fastest lap from Wood, 48.169.

01:10Oh, and the car comes off, big style, and that unfortunately is the 6.20,

01:16the Mill Street Motors Focus got out of shape coming out of Devil's Elbow.

01:24and the driver's door is opened, and I'm very glad to say that Todd Garner has walked away,

01:44in fact he's run away from the car, he's now just going over towards the marshals,

01:49he's just gathering his composure, it was a very big bang indeed,

01:54and the car hit the tyre wall, bucked into the air, it's knocked some of the barriers behind the arm coat,

02:05and I'm afraid that there will be quite a lengthy delay while that is sorted out,

02:19and while the split radiator of the crumpled focus is still steaming,

02:30but a very big hit, and I was relieved to see the driver walk away to the marshals post.

02:47The rear corner of the focus is effectively missing, so whether that was cause or effect, who knows,

02:59but it was a mighty incident.
