Today we ask locals: Whether your dad is still with us — or no longer here — what message would you like to send him this Father’s Day?

00:00This weekend is Father's Day, whether your father or your fatherhood figure is still with us or not,

00:05what kind of thing would you like to say to them?

00:08Happy Father's Day, probably.

00:10Yeah, I should probably phone my dad. I haven't spoken for a little while, so yeah,

00:15I'll put him in the call and say, Happy Father's Day and that kind of thing.

00:19I love you, all that.

00:20It's Father's Day coming up this weekend.

00:22Whether your father or fatherhood figure is here or isn't here,

00:26what kind of message would you want to send to them?

00:29I would not want to forget it was Father's Day because I feel like it's important to show respect and appreciation to your older man.

00:38And, you know, I was actually thinking about this recently.

00:41He needs a shed to be built soon, with only enough in the garden because he bought a new one.

00:45And he said he could do it himself, but I thought, you know, Father's Day coming up and you need to show your parents that you respect them.

00:53So I think, yeah, I would definitely want to help him out with that.

00:56And especially, like, you know, you only get one, really.

00:59And then all around forever.
