The Control Yuan, Taiwan's government watchdog, has approved the impeachment of  former labor ministry branch director Hsieh Yi-jung. Hsieh faces a disciplinary trial for her role in a case of workplace bullying that came to light after an employee's suicide in November 2024. The former director-general of the ministry’s Workforce Development Agency has also been impeached for supervisory misconduct.
