Transcript
00:00I still get goosebumps thinking about it.
00:06We want to take African football
00:08to the next level, to the next stage.
00:18I don't think less than 70, 80 million are supporting Al Ahli.
00:22And the good thing is they travel around everywhere.
00:25It's amazing what these fans are adding to our players,
00:29to us, to our names, to the Al Ahli name.
00:32It's a big honor.
00:41It means a lot, right?
00:43Imagine being a champion of a world of clubs
00:45with so many big clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester City.
00:48It would be very important for me, for the club and for everyone.
00:59I get chills just thinking about it.
01:01We didn't really have those role models or players back then
01:05who were part of such big tournaments, you know.
01:08So it was very difficult to really dream so big.
01:11We know the pressure that we have, you know,
01:13because this is now the world is going to see African football.
01:16So we need to go out there and stamp our authority as well.
01:19In the beginning, everybody will think we lose the games,
01:30but if we win there or we will make a good draw,
01:33we put Redead in a very good position and we show the world
01:37that Morocco is a very, very good country for football.
01:40It will be special.
01:41I hope that the African teams are ready for it because, I mean,
01:44obviously it's going to be, it's going to be quite difficult
01:47to play against the biggest teams in the world.
01:49But we're always afraid.
01:50Africans, we always find the way to win.
01:52So I'm sure we'll be there to try to compete.
