Jalen Williams living the dream as he steps out of the shadows of OKC legends

Williams said comparisons to the Thunder's icons such as James Harden and Kevin Durant is a blessing.

00:00It doesn't really do too much for me except the fact that it's just cool.

00:05Growing up, I was probably like 12 when they were playing around there,

00:12to go from watching them reach that point,

00:17and then to end up being on the team that's in the same position as them.

00:20It's just like...it's more of like a blessing, just like a dream come true.

00:23I just played Russell Westbrook in the playoffs

00:28and obviously he's a cornerstone of this organization

00:32I just try and take those little things that come with it

00:34and just be really happy and thankful for it

00:36it doesn't really add any pressure or any kind of motivation

00:40it's just really cool that I get to be in this position
