00:00Nintendo just dropped a huge bomb and casually revealed a new Splatoon game out of nowhere.

00:05Just days after the Nintendo Switch 2 launched, the company gave us the first Switch 2 Splatoon game,

00:10and this one is a novelty for the franchise.

00:13Instead of going straight to part 4 of the main game, we are getting Splatoon Raiders first.

00:18This is a totally new spin-off title heading exclusively to the Nintendo Switch 2.

00:22While Nintendo was somewhat tight-lipped regarding details,

00:25it appears to be different from the usual multiplayer PvP part and solely focuses on a unique story adventure.

00:32Here you're playing as a mechanic with a mysterious past alongside the deep-cut trio, shipwrecked on an uncharted island.

00:38It should be a narrative-driven exploratory adventure with homemade gear and tons of stuff to discover.

00:44Also, Nintendo isn't forgetting about Splatoon 3, and there will be a big free update called the Splatlands Collection

00:50that drops already in two days for both the new and old Switch.

00:53This update includes new weapon kits, a badge system, new freshness caps, and much more.

00:58Nintendo is definitely not giving up on Splatoon, and it will only be a question of time when Splatoon 4 is getting revealed.
