00:56proud as AmChan would play a small part in supporting that vision. At the same time, Taiwan should
01:02remain proactive in seeking deeper economic engagement with the United States, including
01:07continued efforts to secure targeted tariff relief and advance a double taxation avoidance
01:12agreement.
01:14The recent passage of enabling legislation by the U.S. House of Representatives is a significant
01:20step forward on that question of double taxation avoidance.
01:23To build on this momentum, ongoing coordination with U.S. partners will be critical to achieve
01:28full congressional approval and ensure that the agreement delivers lasting benefits to both
01:33sides. We also encourage more structured engagement through working groups and public-private dialogues
01:39on areas such as supply chain security, digital trade, and regulatory cooperation.
