Netanyahu set to hold Iran security meeting after call with Trump

00:01Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to hold a security meeting on Iran.
00:06It comes after his conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump on the matter,
00:10which Israeli media reported to have lasted around 40 minutes.
00:14Trump was asked about the call with the Israeli premier but did not offer much detail on the matters discussed,
00:20instead insisting that it went very well and smooth.
00:23The meeting will include Defense Minister Israel Katz,
00:26Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, and Shah's party chairman Arya Dery.
00:32Also taking part in the meeting are far-right ministers Itamar Bengvir and Bezalel Smatrich,
00:36who run the national security and finance ministries.
00:40Bengvir and Smatrich are typically not included in such high-level conferences.
00:44The meeting comes as Tehran is expected to respond to a U.S. proposal over its nuclear program.
00:50Washington has reportedly proposed to allow Iran to continue enriching uranium within their nation
00:55at low levels and for a limited time period.
00:58Tehran is expected to reject this proposal,
01:01with rumors circulating that Iranian officials will not accept a deal
01:05which dictates permissions on their own sovereign soil.
