00:00So it's been 15 years since Emirates debuted its A380 shower spa but there's still something so

00:05special about showering 35,000 feet above the ground at 500 miles per hour. So how does it

00:10work and what are the rules? You'll want to make an appointment as soon as possible and typically

00:14the cabin crew will come around pre-departure and ask you for your preferred 30 minutes slot.

00:19First bus passengers can shower once per flight and each person gets five minutes of hot running

00:23water but more on that at the end of this video. You won't need to bring anything into the shower

00:27spa except yourselves as you'll be provided with all kinds of toiletries from dental kits to shaving

00:31kits to cotton pads and shower caps and of course body wash and fresh towels but if that isn't enough

00:36there are also balkery toiletries, a hair dryer and you'll be given slippers and pyjamas. The spa also

00:41provides full-length mirrors, hanging space for your outfit and even a tv screen displaying the flight

00:46path if you're curious as to which country you'll be showering over. So about the five minutes of hot

00:51water don't worry you can pause the water flow to make the most of those five minutes and when you

00:55have just one minute left the water will stop automatically as a gentle reminder to enjoy

00:59this final 60 seconds.
