00:00Hey everyone and welcome to Germany. I'm so excited to show you the 10 best places you
00:18absolutely have to see in this awesome country. From the busy streets of Berlin to the fairy
00:23tale castles of Bavaria, Germany has something for everyone. Whether you love history, art,
00:28culture, or just beautiful scenery, you're going to love it here. So grab your travel
00:33notebook, pack your bags, and let's go. Our first stop is Berlin, the exciting capital city.
00:42You'll want to spend at least three, maybe even four days here to see everything. Start at the
00:46Brandenburg Gate, one of the most famous sites in Berlin. This big beautiful arch has seen a lot
00:51of history and shows how strong Berlin is. From there, take a short walk to the Reichstag building
00:58where the German government meets. You can even go to the top for amazing views of the city.
01:03And don't miss the East Side Gallery, a part of the Berlin Wall that's now an outdoor art gallery.
01:09It's a powerful reminder of the city's past. For art and history lovers, spend an afternoon at Museum
01:14Island, home to five amazing museums. You'll find treasures from ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome,
01:20and more. And don't forget to try Berlin's famous currywurst. It's delicious.
01:29Next, we're off to Bavaria, a land of rolling hills, cute villages, and of course, castles. And the
01:35most magical castle of all is Neuschwanstein. This fairy tale castle high on a cliff inspired Disney's
01:42leaping beauty castle. Explore the castle's fancy rooms filled with paintings, tapestries,
01:47and beautiful woodwork. Then walk through the forests, enjoy the views from Marienbrücke Bridge,
01:52or take a boat ride on the calm Alpsee Lake. You'll see why Neuschwanstein is one of the most
01:57popular castles in the world. Let's go to Munich, the exciting capital of Bavaria. Munich mixes old
02:06traditions with modern life perfectly. Begin at Marienplatz, the center of the city,
02:11and see the amazing Glockenspiel clock tower. For a taste of royalty, visit the beautiful
02:15Nymphenburg Palace, a huge palace with amazing gardens. Car fans will love the BMW museum,
02:23showing the history of this famous German car. And of course, you can't go to Munich without
02:28experiencing Oktoberfest, the world's biggest folk festival. If you're there in late September
02:32or early October, raise a big glass of beer and join the party.
02:38Our next stop is Cologne, a city on the Rhine River. Cologne's most famous site is the Cologne
02:43Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a beautiful Gothic building. Explore the cathedral's
02:48tall ceilings, colorful windows, and climb the South Tower for amazing city views. After,
02:54take a relaxing walk along the Rhine River, or take a boat tour for a different view of the city.
02:59Now we're going to the Black Forest in southwest Germany. This area is perfect for nature lovers,

04:12walk along the Philosopher's Walk. Get ready to be amazed by Dresden, the capital of Saxony,
