00:00Hello it's June it was my birthday yes day before yesterday and I'm now a very
00:08old man but yeah thought it's still carrying with the monthly vlogs there's
00:17a possibility this might be the last one I ever do only because my doctor's
00:23surgery haven't issued my blood pressure medication for this quarter so I may
00:31suddenly just go between now and July probably not I'll probably get all of them soon but yes
00:40obviously if you see me you can see me twitching on the street then and you'll
00:45know why so yeah since I last frogged been to Shindig Festival I did my talk
00:58which made up on the spot I talk about walking the K-line from London to Liverpool
01:02which if you're just tuning in buy this book off Amazon and read all about it
01:09and it's a big adventure did last year and so I didn't talk about that which went
01:15alright and there was some other talks and there was some other music and find it
01:24online Shindig Festival we also created this a marvellous bespoke piece of Baja
01:32Cull fan art I found the original Bad Panda cheap canvas is it there's a debate
01:41whether this is the Banksy or whether it's someone who is a spray artist on
01:45those lines it's been a piece of art it's been around for 25 years the Bad Panda
01:48picture you probably recognize it but then it was detourned by the justified
01:57interest of Moomoo in 2017 for their for the band Baja Cull and so yeah when I
02:03found this Bad Panda cheapo canvas by the bin outside I thought I'd bring it
02:08along to Shindig and we got the Posca pens me and a friend Lisa and we've made
02:14this bespoke piece of artwork which I quite like it if you quite like it send in
02:21your bids if you should stick it on eBay yeah great stuff in it anyway one of the
02:30things that actually one of these that did happen on stage at Shindig was the
02:33chill out live band performed their cover version of the KLF 1990 ambient album chill
02:40out and subsequent to that one of the band challenged me and another guy we know to
02:49see if we could use AI to make an AI version of AI reinterpretation of chill
02:55out which I've done took me about a week and some some of the band camp on the
02:59stay out forever band camp it's called chill out forever and free download it's
03:04also also did a slightly more mixed as band camp tracks are separate but I might
03:08then sort of segue them together onto a continuous video which is a find on my
03:14YouTube yeah or if you're watching some daily motion somewhere else it's quite
03:23good and soon no probing soon no pro obviously it always gives you two
03:28options when it generates a piece of music I put in the titles of the lyrics and
03:31the genres and so change the lyrics to be about and titles to be about the London
03:36Liverpool walk anyway it gives you two options generates two options and I chose
03:42the shortest or most appropriate ones for chill out reinterpretation but then I
03:47went back to the off cuts and they're a bit more instrumental some of them a bit
03:54longer a bit more amp a bit more dub so I've basically constructed a dub version as
04:00well essentially which will be up on my band camp stay out forever on Monday 23rd of June
04:10a couple of weeks away and again it'll be free but I'll be in the accompanying disc
04:15this download I mean we might we might put one to see me tonight there's some
04:22interest in putting him on CD but I'm would you be interested let us know also
04:30have the last few weeks I've continued collecting and bubbles pebbles with holes in
04:35for the Bank of Hastings and rather I now have five account holders men women and
04:42cats and children and those five pebbles are still sitting on top of the stack of
04:50new Doctor Who era DVD box sets in the other room and but I'll I need to
04:55construct something to put them in which will be the vault will be the bank vault
05:00we call the vault the vault will also be the name of a playlist possibly a
05:07download of the various pieces of music I make which apparently what I made with
05:12cassio keyboard it's a bit more difficult than AI various pieces of music I make for
05:16the people who submitted pebbles not all of whom wanted me to make a piece of music
05:21for them in return but they said oh don't bother but it's like no you're gonna get a
05:26terrible piece of music whether you like it or not so just a reminder if you if
05:29you get in touch and you find if you've got a pebble you find a pebble on the
05:32beach with a hole in it get in touch get it to me I'll open you an account with the
05:37Bank of Hastings brother I'll keep the pebble safely in the vault and and to mark the
05:45fact you've opened an account I will record a piece of music for you either
05:50with the cassio keyboard or with AI or whatever as easiest or whatever you prefer
05:55stick it on a CD art and put it in the post you haven't done any of those yet I
05:59will do and you know sun's out I bet you to do but I will do that and once I've
06:08held your account for a year I will get on the beach and I'll find another pebble with a
06:15hole in it I'll add that to your account so it's accruing interest and I'm accruing
06:19pebbles and if you wish you can have your pebbles back basically the whole
06:30financial system might collapse at some point and you know you've got to have
06:33something you reserve even though it's not reserves of gold it's reserves of
06:36pebbles is there anything else going on the walk along the ridgeway has stalled
06:44and I think partly because one of our walkers has been more away working in
06:51Scotland one of them has injured themselves and it's only made but they're
06:54back and been able to walk until probably July so it's all gone on hold to fill in
07:03time I've been back up to the children's I've gone up to Avery and done the Avery
07:08circular walk over a couple of weekends a couple of weeks apart it's a bit suburban
07:14so I kept myself walking and when we were at Shindig the other week we drove from
07:21after the festival we were staying in Swindon we drove from Swindon down to
07:24Stonehenge and the road takes you the main road Swindon down to Stonehenge
07:27the route you take takes you through through the end of the western end of the
07:33road you end up going through Avebury the road goes right through Avebury
07:39Avebury is a village within the stone circle so you go into the village
07:42surrounded by stone circles past the Red Lion pub out the other side you've got
07:46Silbury hill to the left anyway and so I've already kind of like jumped ahead a
07:53bit in the car camera was like oh should we park I've got a walk here just be
07:57driving through now randomly so yeah I definitely need to finish the walk it's
08:02very beautiful out there yeah and we went to Stonehenge where I had a feeling I
08:12might have been as a kid maybe like preschool age I can't remember if I'd seen
08:18a photo of me as a kid or my brother or sister there because I think even though you
08:23go to Stonehenge back then you could like walk right up to the Stones now as you
08:27probably know you can't there's a fence around it but yeah sort of being there again
08:30it's like I've been here before unless that's just been channeling me me Neolithic
08:37ancestors or whatever they were yeah Stonehenge I think that's all that's going on oh I've got
08:47loads of other bits and bobs on bank I've prepped a load of other stuff on bank
08:51account a few couple of months back which I will make public and release at some
08:59point there's all sorts of off cuts and mixes there's a load of orchestral fan
09:04fair stuff I did for the various members areas of the YouTube channel I can't
09:11remember what basically I had that whole flurry of a week or so like made a load of
09:14stuff stuck it in draft form on bank app and then sort of forgot about it yeah
09:20come out at some point send in your requests what's the next project oh and
09:28there's also a fanzine I also made a fanzine for Shindy called 23AD at least I was
09:33going to make a fanzine it's going to be a proper it's going to be a five black and
09:36white photocopied had lots of contributions and then my printer in the other room
09:40broke the a couple of nights before the festival couldn't fix it I just couldn't
09:45get a change of the inks couldn't get a connection between the laptop and the
09:47printer so I ended up going to work the next day with a piece of A4 paper and a
09:51pen and writing a sheet by hand photocopied it double-sided hundred copies at the
10:00festival stamp award the KLF Reenactment Society red stamp and left them in our
10:09merch tent I don't know why no might give them some away but ultimately we've got
10:13loads left so if you want a simple fold-out fanzine like really literally
10:19handwritten one sheet of A4 and again let me know and I'll stick one in the post
10:23here that's about it I think for June and yeah I say unless I expire over the
10:31weekend I'll see you in July
10:35with me badger bye
