00:00Today we're going to see how to create a Gmail account from your phone, but without entering the number.

00:04On your smartphone, go to Settings, look for the Accounts option.

00:09It's possible that it's within another submenu, in my case in the Additional Settings.

00:14Here I have Accounts and Synchronization and at the bottom Add Account.

00:19Choose a Google account.

00:21And on this screen we have the option to create an account.

00:24Choose for personal or business use.

00:27Enter the first name.

00:30The last name is optional, I don't enter it.

00:35Click on Next, enter your date of birth and gender.

00:41Click on Next and here choose to create a Gmail address.

00:45Click on Next, it gives us two address options, but we're going to create a custom one.

00:51Write the address and keep in mind that if that address already exists, it won't let you use it.

00:56I'm going to include numbers so that it's easier to find it available.

01:00Click on Next.

01:01Yes, it is available.

01:03Otherwise, it would tell me that it wasn't available.

01:05It would give me other options.

01:08Set your password.

01:10Click on Next and here it asks us if we want to add the phone number.

01:13We can do it or not.

01:14As you can see, I have the option to accept or skip.

01:21Review your account information.

01:23Click Next.

01:24And here we need to configure the settings.

01:26I'm going to choose the quick one-step option.

01:28I'll click Next.

01:30Read all the information and accept.

01:32We confirm the settings and the privacy and terms.

01:41I have now created the account.

01:43You can now access your account from Gmail.

01:45And here I have my first email from Google.
