Tim Key, Jamie Laing, Sunetra Sarker, Laura Whitmore

Series 6, Week 10, Day 3

Every day this week, former winners Tim Key, Jamie Laing, Sunetra Sarker and Laura Whitmore take on a series of quiz rounds selected by the host, quiz legend Richard Osman.

A daily winner is declared following a quickfire round at the end of each show, and the scores are tallied across the week, resulting in an overall champion being crowned on Friday.

Facing their second chance to win a prize, will the winning stars opt for the House of Games golden goblets, or will they be tempted with the must-have House of Games golden fondue set?

00:00Happy Wednesday, everybody. Welcome along to Wednesday's House of Games.
00:13You join us for Champions Week. Four former winners have returned.
00:17One of them is going to walk away with a golden trophy on Friday.
00:22Our four former champions look a little bit like this.
00:25They are Laura Whitmore, Tim Key, Sinetra Sarka and Jamie Lang.
00:32Big day.
00:34Now, Jamie, if you've been watching, has been making predictions all week
00:37about his performance, about other people's performance.
00:39Thus far, I have to say, to be fair to the guy, 100% wrong.
00:44But the one thing you said right from the beginning, Jamie,
00:47is Wednesday was going to be your day. You're going to win on Wednesday.
00:49Wednesday's my day. Wednesday's so much my day
00:51that I got a message from Tim Key, who's sitting over there.
00:54Oh, yeah. Saying, big day today.
00:57That's what he said.
00:58First thing I thought of when I woke up, I thought, it's Jamie's day.
01:00Jamie day.
01:01Oh, yeah.
01:03Slang day.
01:04It's my day, everyone.
01:05It'd be a handy day to have a good day, actually,
01:06because let's take a look at the weekly leaderboard, Jamie.
01:08You currently, just due to your quiet start,
01:11you find yourself at the bottom of that.
01:14Really?
01:14With three points.
01:16Sinetra and Laura with five, and Tim with eight.
01:18So, a good day to have a good day.
01:20Sinetra, Tim has won two in a row.
01:21I know.
01:22You were very close on Monday.
01:24Laura was very close yesterday.
01:25Surely you've got a win in you.
01:27Oh, really?
01:28I've lost your determination there.
01:30Surely I've got a win in me, winning Wednesday.
01:33And Laura lost by one point yesterday.
01:35I know.
01:36And today, lucky shoes.
01:37I'm wearing my lucky shoes,
01:38but I kind of feel like it's a wrong day to wear,
01:41because obviously Jamie's going to win today.
01:43Oh, yeah.
01:44Sorry, everyone.
01:45But you never know.
01:45The four-leaf clovers might do me well.
01:47Four-leaf clovers.
01:48There he is, though.
01:49Look at that.
01:50Sitting pretty.
01:51A lot of people saying they're going to win today.
01:52Yeah.
01:53A lot of people.
01:55This gentleman is one Monday and Tuesday, Tim.
01:57Been close both days, though.
01:58They were close.
01:59Yesterday was...
02:00That was harem-scarrem.
02:02Yeah, it certainly was.
02:03We won on the last question yesterday.
02:05Shall we have a look at the prizes today?
02:06Yeah.
02:07Golden prizes again.
02:10Oh!
02:10Oh!
02:11The dartboard.
02:11Wow.
02:12Golden playing cards.
02:14Is that a drum?
02:15Golden champagne.
02:16The golden scented candle.
02:18What do you think of the drum?
02:19It's a golden dartboard.
02:20And a golden compost bin.
02:22Yes, please.
02:23Wow.
02:24Jamie, you're winning today,
02:25so what do you fancy?
02:26Do you know what?
02:26I'm going to probably go for that dartboard,
02:28because Tim will want those magic cards.
02:29Yeah, won't he just?
02:30He will.
02:31So you can take the dartboard, Sinatra.
02:33Compost bin.
02:34I mean, this is...
02:35I think.
02:35Compost bin.

02:42And Laura?
02:42I'm going to say the candle.
02:44Hang on a minute.
02:44Can I just ask the five of clubs there?
02:46Yes.
02:47What's happening with those?
02:48Are they high quality?
02:50Because it looks like they've not coloured in the club.
02:51Have you painted that in?
02:53As someone's telling me,
02:54all the odd numbers are inlaid with platinum.
02:57Wow.
02:57Who's telling you this?

10:59Song, where, rainbow.
11:03Somewhere over the rainbow is Wizard of Oz.
11:06So, you're going to go Wizard of Oz?
11:09I'm just thinking about the musicals.

11:18Can't stop thinking of somewhere over a rainbow.
11:20Yes, the rainbow is really dragging you towards...
11:23Stop it, stop it, guys.
11:28Stay warm and sing with happiness.
11:31Stay warm and sing with happiness.
11:33I think we might have to time you out, Netra.

17:16Big day, big day, big day.
17:18It's going to be soon.
17:19Jamie Lang has one point.
17:21Laura and Tim, we're on four points now.
17:23Sinetra Sarka with nine points.
17:24Well done.
17:26Looking good.
17:27All I'm going to say, big day.
17:31For who?
17:31For me.
17:32Big day.
17:33Here we go.
17:33Round four.
17:34Let's take a look at what it's going to be.
17:35The nice round.
17:41Every round is a nice one with you four.
17:44Now, Laura, the first thing that's going to happen is you're going to guess the name of a famous person.
17:48Okay?
17:48Okay.
17:49Your three opponents, if you'll take your tablets out, please, they will see the name of that famous person on their tablet.
17:53They will write down a one-word clue as to who it is.
17:56So you will have three words to guess the person.
17:59Okay.
17:59I'll give you a point if you get it right.
18:01It's the nice round because you also give a point to the person who gives you the most helpful clue.
18:04Okay.
18:05Brilliant.
18:05We are just all over this.
18:12It's going to help me now.
18:13100%.
18:14Okay.
18:15Laura, you've got to guess the name of a famous person.
18:17You've got three words to help you.
18:18Tim, Laura's first word is...
18:22Meat.
18:23Meat.
18:24That is rogue.
18:26I nearly put that.
18:27The second word?
18:30Songstress.
18:31Songstress.
18:31Meat.
18:32Okay.
18:33Meat, songstress.
18:34Jamie?
18:34I put a little heart with Laura at the bottom, so just ignore that bribery.
18:37But, um, monsters.
18:39Monsters.
18:40Yeah.
18:41I know.
18:42I know who it is.
18:43Me too.
18:43Thank you, by the way.
18:44That's really helpful.
18:45I think it's Lady Gaga.
18:47Lady Gaga.
18:47Yeah!
18:47Absolutely.
18:48Well done.
18:49All the meat dressers, the songstress, the fans are little monsters, aren't they?
18:53Who do you want to give a bonus point to?
18:55It's tricky that, isn't it?
18:57Can I just quickly say, Laura?
18:58Oh!
18:59Sorry.
18:59As soon as you saw mine, you went, got it.
19:01I mean this in the nicest possible way.
19:04I'm giving it to you because I don't think it's going to make a difference.
19:07All right.
19:07There we go.
19:07I'll take it.
19:08But without mine, would you?
19:09Yours is pretty, but you don't need it.
19:11Oh.
19:11You can have the point.
19:13Tim, you've got to guess a famous person now.
19:16You'll have three words to help you.
19:17Everybody is in.
19:23Tim, you've got to guess the name of a famous person.
19:25You will have three words to help you.
19:27Sinatra, the first word is?
19:29It's really obscure, but try and go with it.
19:32I've written Clinton.
19:34I was going to write that.
19:34Clinton.
19:35I was going to write that.
19:36Clinton.
19:36Jamie, you're saying?
19:39Politics.
19:40Politics.
19:41This might be helpful, actually.
19:42And Laura?
19:44Fireplace.
19:45Yeah.
19:46Fireplace.
19:47Clinton.
19:49Politics.
19:51Fireplace.
19:52Huh.
19:53What do we think at home on this one?
19:54That is...
19:56Oh, OK.
19:57Do you think you know?
19:58If it is that, it's a head of a jigsaw puzzle.
20:02Well, yeah, but I'm going to go for the jigsaw puzzle.
20:05Hillary Mantle.
20:06That's what I think, is it?
20:09That's amazing.
20:10I'm so proud of you.
20:11That's so good.
20:12So proud of you.
20:13Wow.
20:13Well done.
20:13Well, it's a mantel piece.
20:14Yeah.
20:15I was thinking, wow, and Hillary Clinton.
20:17Hillary Mantle.
20:18Well done.
20:19What are we saying, Tim, about the bonus points?
20:21I think for the jigsaw-ness of it and the audacity, got to go Whitmore.
20:26I think Fireplace, yeah.
20:27Well played.
20:28Well done.
20:29Well done.
20:30Well done getting that.
20:31Oh, I feel so pleased at working that out.
20:32Oh, yeah, yeah.
20:33Well done.
20:33I'm well impressed.
20:34Fantastic.
20:35Great stuff.
20:36Sunetra, you have now got to guess a famous person.
20:40You will have three clues to help you.
20:44Look at Jamie, deep in thought.
20:47Jamie doesn't know who it is.
20:48Yes, I do.
20:49Oh, no.
20:50Oh, you do.
20:51No, no, I thought that was the same face.
20:52I might do the same.
20:56Oh, no, no.
20:57I'm going to go for that.
21:01Tim, you're in?
21:02Go for obvious.
21:04I hope, yeah.
21:05Tim is in.
21:06Sunetra, famous person to guess.
21:07Three words to help you.
21:08Jamie, the first word is?
21:09President.
21:11Okay.
21:11President.
21:12Okay.
21:13Laura?
21:14USA.
21:15USA, okay.
21:16Hey.
21:17Tim?
21:17Oh, I'm annoyed I didn't do my other one.
21:20I've got president.
21:22President.
21:23So, listen, my guess, Sunetra, is it's the president of the United States of America.
21:27And if it's not, then we're going to be having words for these three.
21:30Which one, though?
21:31First one you'd think of.
21:33Barack Obama.
21:34Is that Obama?
21:35Doesn't look like it is.
21:37What was your next clue going to be?
21:39My other one I was going to go for is current.
21:41Yeah, I was going to do something like that.
21:43Joe Biden.
21:43I was going to do something like that as well.
21:45Oh, I'd have gone for Joe Biden if it said current.
21:47But, yeah, you'd need, you'd have to rely on the other two to say the obvious ones.
21:51I was just thinking of.
21:51Yeah, because you kind of, you needed the president of the US of A, and then I was like, what happens
21:54if we all say president?
21:55I know.
21:56Jamie, you've got to guess the name of a famous person.
