Pacers relishing underdogs tag ahead of NBA Finals

The Pacers are relishing being the heavy underdogs in the NBA Finals against Oklahoma City Thunder

00:00I feel like that's been the norm for us throughout the playoffs and that's okay

00:03we're not really worried about the external noise

00:06we know what we have to do to win and we have to do it together

00:11anything outside of that we're not concerned or something

00:15we enjoy it

00:16I think everybody in our locker room or our staff

00:18we enjoy being the underdogs

00:20we've been the underdogs since I've gotten here

00:23for the last three years

00:24every game in the playoffs

00:25it felt like nobody wanted us to win

00:26we're here and nothing's new

00:29and we're going to attack you with the same mindset

00:31you know I'm not really trying to think about

00:32you know how much I deserve to be here

00:35you know because I know I work really hard

00:37and you know I also have a great team

00:39you know a great team that

00:40we didn't start the season the right way

00:42and then you know we finally found ourselves

00:44you know

00:46in time for us to be in the finals

00:48so it's been a great thing

00:51this is my 10th year

00:52this is my first time playing in the finals

00:56so people have to realize how hard this is to do

00:59and

00:59to be able to experience it

01:05how hard it is to get here

01:07but the job's not done

01:08you know we have to

01:09we have four more wins

01:10and we've got to focus on that
