00:00The four countries that we visited, we had a very highly productive meetings.
00:07We had interactions with a cross-section of persons, including from the government, the parliament, the civic society and academics.
00:22And the message that we conveyed was that even though terrorism is a global menace, the terrorism that India is subjected to is a result of the state-sponsored terrorism of Pakistan.
00:43State-sponsored terrorism will not be found anywhere else other than that is sponsored by Pakistan.
00:55And there was a consensus that there is a need for a global initiative against such forms of terrorism.
01:08The everyone whom we met, in their strongest words, condemned the terror attack that was there in Pehelgaon.
01:20So, I feel that the view is that our visit was very successful.
01:26We could convey the message to the whole world that India suffers at the hands of the state-sponsored terrorism initiated by Pakistan and there is need for a global initiative against such efforts.
01:45One more point that we stressed was that India has been initiating a multilateral legal framework for counter-terrorism.
01:57Unfortunately, a consensus has not emerged.
02:02So, we stressed upon all those whom we met that especially those countries whom we travel, those from the African continent and the Middle East,
02:14these countries who are partners of India should take a more further active initiative to see that this global legal framework,
02:29multilateral legal framework has to be approved at the earliest.
