00:00Hi, I'm Alisha Buh and this is my co-author Jesse. We believe that stories can change history

00:15and film is one of the most powerful tools we have to reach a generation with the gospel.

00:20In 2014, after shelving our publishing dreams, I was fasting and praying during a painful family

00:30trial when I tuned into an online church meeting, desperate for a word from God. As I turned it on,

00:37the speaker was saying God was raising up screenwriters and producers to create films

00:42that would capture a generation for the gospel. In that moment, I felt like God was saying,

00:47this is what I have for you. He was urging me to trust him with my family and pursue writing for

00:53his glory. For years, I pondered that word in my heart as I kept writing. Now, 10 years later,

01:01having published our book series, Jesse and I believe it's time to take a leap of faith into

01:06the realm of filmmaking with our latest creation, Ripple. Ripple is a timely story that carries a

01:12raw message of hope to a hurting world. The main character of Ripple, Danny McMillan,

01:18is an aspiring musician who has made huge mistakes, leading to broken hearts and an estrangement from

01:24his son. Steeped in regret and despair, Danny decides to take his own life. His attempted suicide

01:31leads to a divine encounter that gives him a glimmer of hope, a mysterious white stone with a hidden name

01:38and a new path to follow, leading him towards reclaiming a relationship with his son.

01:44As Danny's journey unfolds, it intertwines with other complex individuals. People like Micah,

01:49an unlikely street preacher with a tragic past now dealing with his own addiction. Naomi,

01:55a struggling single mother who desperately needs to catch a break. And Vincent, a rejected bar owner,
