00:00Ahead of the peace talks in Istanbul, Russia-Ukraine war has escalated dramatically.
00:05This after Ukraine launched a large-scale drone attack on Russia.
00:08Take a look at some visuals coming in from Russia.
00:13Ukraine was reportedly able to attack air bases deep inside Russia
00:17using trucks that were smuggled into Russian territory.
00:20These trucks were reportedly equipped with capabilities for launching drones
00:24and were stationed near Russian nuclear bombers' bases.
00:30And here's a Russian soldier reportedly capturing the devastation on camera.
00:35The soldier seems to be in disbelief as he pans his camera to show smoke coming from the jets hit by Ukraine.
00:48And this is being called as Russia's Pearl Harbor.
00:51The flight line at Russia's Olenya airbase was set on fire in the Ukraine's drone attack.
00:57In the visual, multiple Russian TU-95 bombers were seen burning.
01:06And look at this.
01:08Plume of smokes can be seen from highways in Russia.
01:12It is learned that Ukrainian drone strikes hit targets deep inside Russia.
01:16The Ukrainian security agencies are calling it Operation Spiderweb.
01:20And approximately 5,000 km from Ukraine.
01:30A Ukrainian drone operator carefully can be seen setting its target on a TU-95 bomber in these visuals.
01:37And here it is.
01:45The impact of an Ukrainian drone.
01:47A truck in Russia can be seen imploding after being hit by a drone in the strike.
01:52The drone attack on Russia was planned well in advance.
02:01It is learned that Ukrainian secret services had hidden explosive laden drones inside the roofs of wooden sheds.
02:08The sheds were then loaded onto trucks which were driven to the perimeter of the air bases in Russia.
02:13And our top focus continues to remain on the Ukrainian drone strike on Russia.
02:24Ukraine has launched a massive drone attack on Russian aircraft.
02:28The massive operation, codenamed Spiderweb, was in the works for over a year and a half
02:33and was greenlit by none other than Ukrainian President Zelensky himself.
02:38According to officials, this is the most damaging Ukrainian drone attack of the entire war.
02:42And is a significant setback for Moscow.
02:45The strikes have come on the eve of a fresh round of peace talks in Istanbul today.
02:50Russian media is calling it Russia's Pearl Harbor.
02:53Ukrainian drones hit more than 40 Russian aircraft including TU-95 and TU-22 strategic bombers
03:00which Russia uses to fire long-range missiles at Ukraine.
03:04The strikes also caused a huge blast in Severomorsk, one of the key cities for the Russian Navy
03:09where nuclear-armed submarines are maintained.
03:12The strikes, up to 4,300 kilometers deep inside Russia, simultaneously hit four Russian military air bases
03:19and the naval base in Severomorsk.
03:22Now, Russia's defense ministry has called it a terrorist attack across five regions
03:26and also claimed that all attacks were repelled.
03:29In general, in the operation was used 117 drones and the corresponding number of operators of drones worked.
03:40In other words, they worked.
03:42In other words, 34% of the terrorist attack on aeroidromes
03:49and the other one, they worked.
03:50In other words, they worked.
03:51There were people in the area of various Russian regions
03:54in three-time cases.
03:56And our people on the front of the operation from the territory of Russia.
04:03Now they are in danger.
04:05They prepared the operation for more than a half of a year.
04:09The planning, the organization, all the details were perfectly prepared.
04:15You can say that this is an absolutely unique operation.
04:21And we are now being joined by senior Russian journalist Senior Kondratyeva on the broadcast.
04:44Senior, could you tell us about the losses that have been incurred by Russia in this biggest drone attack from Ukraine?
04:50Hi, thanks for having me, first of all.
04:55So what we know, I've seen your report and I also seen the visuals that you are showing.
05:03Some of those visuals were proven to be fake from the people of the cities that those visuals alleged to show.
05:11Now, what Russia has stated, Russian MOD has stated yesterday that the airfields were attacked in five regions.
05:22That is, Murmansk, Irkutsk, Kivanova, Rosania, and more regions.
05:27And a very particular statement it made that while in three regions the attacks were repelled in two other places, there was a partial damage.
05:40And it, I would quote, said several pieces of aviation equipment got fired.
05:45Now, from the Russian side obviously does not confirm the claim, you know, of 40 warplanes being hit.
05:55It doesn't go into details of which particular warplanes were destroyed by those drone attacks.
06:05So there is a little information we have from the Russian side.
06:11And obviously, considering the fog of war, we would treat Kyiv's flames very, very carefully.
06:21And as I said, even the videos coming from that side have to be treated very carefully.
06:28All right, Sinia, do stay with us.
06:31Let us tell our viewers more about the Operation Spiderweb by Ukraine.
06:36Now, the drones that were used in this operation were low-cost, radio-controlled FPV drones.
06:43The targets that were hit were Tu-95 nuke-capable bomber, Tu-22 M3's long-range bomber, A-50 early-warning aircraft.
06:53And there were damages of over $2 billion in this Operation Spiderweb,
06:59which is being seen as the biggest drone attack from Ukraine on Russia.
07:04And this information is what the Ukrainian agencies are claiming.
07:09Sinia continues to stay with us with more on this.
07:13Sinia, could this drone attack be a turning point in the Ukraine-Russia war?
07:20Oh, well, it's a good question.
07:23The attack is launched a day before Russia and Ukraine are set to seat in Istanbul for the second round of talks.
07:32The first round took last month.
07:35And these are, I would remind your audience, these are the first talks held since March, April 2022,
07:44when the two sides directly negotiated just two, three months into the war.
07:51They tried to directly negotiate a ceasefire and a possible peace.
07:56But those talks were, Ukraine basically walked off on the advice of their Western supporters, particularly UK.
08:09They walked off from those talks.
08:11Now, this attack is launched just a day before the important talks set to take place today, basically at 1pm local time.
08:22It's Moscow time and Istanbul time in Turkey.
08:26What is important also, and I think most of the West international media, I would say, completely ignore that fact that today, yesterday, I'm sorry,
08:39Ukraine didn't only launch the drone attack on the military targets, which in the condition of war, of course, are legitimate targets.
08:49But it launched attack against civilians, a terror attack against civilians.
08:53It blew up two bridges.
08:54Well, when I, when I claim Ukraine blew up those bridges, of course, this is preliminary investigation is going on.
09:02But yesterday morning, two bridges were blown up.
09:06Those bridges were over the railways.
09:09In one case, there were not only one person was injured.
09:15But in another case, over 70 people were injured and seven people died, including small children.
09:21Five month old babies battling for his life right now in the hospital after this attack.
09:26So these kind of attacks against the civilians, against civilian targets, is not something Russia has ever tolerated and will tolerate.
09:38So obviously, these kind of attacks, and I'm even surprised those are not spoken about, they definitely change the course of these negotiations.
09:50We have to see what happens today in Istanbul, if at all, the talks will happen.
09:56But the Russian side said that its delegation has reached Istanbul yesterday.
10:01We had those visuals that it is getting a proposal which it didn't make public.
10:09Now, unlike Ukraine did, we've seen Reuters citing the document that Ukraine is going to bring on the table.
10:16And that document didn't change much from what was discussed in April with the US side.
10:26And we know that both the US and European allies of Ukraine have rejected some of those proposals, like particularly the security guarantees, which are not only diplomatic, but first of all military guarantees.
10:43And this is, of course, something that Russia is also opposing to.
10:47So we have to see whether these negotiations will go any way forward, given this very important escalation that happened yesterday.
10:58Right, Sinia, do stay with us.
11:00So Russia is calling it its own Pearl Harbor moment after the drone attack from Ukraine.
11:05Now, let us understand how Kyiv executed Operation Spiderweb.
11:09Now, this was planned for 18 months and Ukrainian President Zelensky oversaw the operations.
11:16Ukrainian forces smuggled drones into Russia and mobile wooden cabins also were smuggled.
11:24Once in Russia drones were hidden in wooden cabins during this operations and then roof remotely opened for the drone attack.
11:34Drones were remotely operated by Kyiv and by the Kyiv operator.
11:39So this is how Kyiv actually executed what it calls Operation Spiderweb.
11:44This is what the Ukrainian agencies claim.
11:47This is how they executed this entire operation, which is being seen as the biggest drone attack by Ukraine on Russia.
11:54Sinia continues to stay with us.
11:56Sinia, as you said that Russia has never tolerated such attacks and will not tolerate such attacks.
12:02So what could be the further strategy of Russia?
12:06Again, when I said Russia will not tolerate such attacks, I mean the attacks on civilians,
12:13killing civilians in the moving trains by blowing up the bridges.
12:17I'm not talking about drone attacks at this moment.
12:20And you have not mentioned those attacks in your report.
12:23So, you know, I would caution to distinguish between attacks on the military airfield and attacks on civilians.
12:32And I think India knows quite a lot, especially lately about the attacks against civilians and how India itself reacted against, responded to those attacks.
12:45Now, when we talk about the drone attacks on the military airfield.
12:51You would see, of course, even Russians, I believe, were surprised on how those attacks were executed.
13:00The drones flying out of the cargo trucks.
13:03And we've seen some Russian, some videos showing Russians trying to stop when they realize what's happening.
13:11They climbed on the roof of those trucks and tried to stop the drone from flying.
13:16What is important here and the point I want to make is what kind of achievement Ukraine has with this.
13:27You have to look still at what's happening at the battlefield.
13:30Russian forces are moving quite fast in the past one month, taking a settlement after a settlement.
13:37So does this attack, even if we assume significant, we don't know the number of warplanes destroyed by those attacks because Russia has not confirmed on any numbers.
13:52But even if some of them are destroyed, does it help Ukraine get any upper hand on the battlefield?
14:00No, it does not.
14:01So this attack, the way it was executed, the way it was highlighted in the media, the way videos went out, the way Ukrainian president is describing the attack, that it took over a year of preparation and so many drones were involved.
14:19You know, it's great PR, it's a great narrative, but that doesn't change the basic situation on the battlefield where Russia has an upper hand.
14:35This does not change at all.
14:37So I think that's the key point here we have to consider.
14:41All right, Sinia, do stay with us.
14:44So ahead of the peace talks scheduled in Istanbul today, Ukraine has launched a massive offensive against Russia, escalating tensions between the two warring nations.
14:54After keeping Russia and Turkey in suspense, Ukrainian President Zelensky has confirmed that his defense minister would represent the country in the second round of peace talks with Russian officials.
15:04However, Zelensky has firmly stated that Ukraine will not compromise on its independence.
15:10He has also called for a full unconditional ceasefire.
15:13He has, in fact, also called for the release of prisoners by Russia.
15:17On the other hand, Russia has stated that it has already formulated its peace terms, but won't reveal them ahead of the talks.
15:24Meanwhile, Russian delegation headed by Medinsky arrived in Istanbul for a second round of peace talks.
15:31Remember, the talks in Turkey follows a push from US President Donald Trump, who wants this war to end as soon as possible.
15:40And the Russian journalist Sinia continues to stay with us.
16:07Sinia, do you think with this drone attack, which comes just ahead of the second round of peace talks, Ukraine has undermined its own call for a ceasefire?
16:14Well, there were, I would say that first of all, these talks were proposed by Russia to have direct talks.
16:29This was a proposal by Russia.
16:32Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, made the statement on May 9, when Russia and many other countries in the world celebrated their victory day, the World War II victory day.
16:44So that proposal was made in the press conference.
16:47Now, of course, Washington has been trying to achieve the ceasefire, but it has also shown its frustration with both sides.
17:00So there's a big question whether Donald Trump would really stay within the framework of these negotiations or he would walk off seeing what's happening, what's the reality of this.
17:16Now, what's important is that Russian proposal, even if you see the kind of delegation Russia is sending, and we know that Ukrainian side has criticized Russia for sending what they call low level delegation to Istanbul for the second time.
17:38But if you see the composition of the delegation, these are people from various fields, from diplomacy to military, while Ukraine's delegation is completely military intelligence people.
17:53So Ukraine is not probably ready to talk about those things that bother Russia and those things that Russia wants to settle down as a part of its agreement to any possible ceasefire.
18:10So Russia is not only talking about stopping firing, it's talking about the legal status of the territories.
18:17It's talking about its long standing demands that, you know, Ukraine should abandon its NATO plans.
18:27Ukraine should not be militarized by the NATO members.
18:33Ukraine should honor the rights of its Russian speaking citizens.
18:38So these are the key demands from Russia since the beginning of this conflict.
18:44And long before that, these are the what Russian side calls root causes of the conflict.
18:51And those root causes have to be addressed before any peace is being negotiated.
18:57These have been Russia's long standing position, and we haven't seen any intention from Ukraine to even discuss these points.
19:07So it's really a big question on whether where these talks in Istanbul today are headed.
19:14Sinia, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy has been demanding unconditional ceasefire.
19:19And it is also being said that with this drone attack, Ukraine is strengthening its position in the ceasefire talks.
19:26Yeah, but I think we discussed it.
19:32Where is this strengthening of the position?
19:36Ukraine showed that it is capable of getting out these kind of attacks.
19:41What we call in the case of the train attacks that it possibly had committed, you know, planting explosive into the bridges structure, using some people, some agents in Russia whom it could pay.
20:01And we've seen this kind of attacks.
20:03Ukraine has been sponsoring terrorist attacks against government officials, even its own ex-Ukrainian government officials in the territory of Ukraine, you know, killing them or wounding them in car explosions.
20:19The drone attack, as I said before, we do not know really the figures and there are high chances that the figures claimed by Ukrainian side do not correspond with the reality.
20:35So it does not change the situation on the battlefield in principle.
20:40And this is the key, what has been achieved by Ukraine, except the great television that you can now show, except the great PR and narrative, but the worst happening on the battlefield.
20:56So, Senia, is a ceasefire realistic when there are attacks, there are counterattacks from both the sides, when both the sides are escalating militarily, is a ceasefire realistic at this point of time?
21:11As I said, it looks, it looks very tough and questionable, and we have to really see whether Washington, which is trying to mediate the ceasefire, is actually staying or it is considering walking out because, again, it has many times expressed its frustration with both sides for escalation and not being able to,
21:41come to come to the terms as Washington thought is, you know, quite a simple thing to do.
21:46No, it's not a simple thing without addressing the main causes of this conflict.
21:52And I don't think these kind of Russia's key demands are being discussed.
21:59So I think there is a lot of doubt that this process will proceed successfully.
22:08Unfortunately, that's the reality I believe at the moment.
22:11Welcome back. We're getting some breaking news.
22:15Welcome back. We're getting some breaking news.
22:20Now, Air India is all set to snub Turkiye.
22:23No more plane repair contract to Turkiye.
22:26Aviation Watchdog has blacklisted Turkiye CEOs.
22:29Remember, earlier Indigo got 90 days to end the Turkiye deal, and this comes in the backdrop of Turkiye back in Pakistan terror,
22:39after which it has been facing backlash from India.
22:42And now in the latest, Air India will snub Turkiye.
22:46No more plane repair contract to Turkiye.
22:50Aviation Watchdog has blacklisted Turkiye CEOs.
22:53So Air India will look to send its wide-body planes whose heavy maintenance is being done by Turkish Technik to other MRO entities as part of recalibrating its plans,
23:03taking into cognizance the recent developments related to Turkiye, according to the airline CEO.
23:09So this comes against the backdrop of Turkiye backing Pakistan.
23:13And my colleague Shivani Sharma is now joining us with more details on this step that has been taken by the Air India to snub Turkiye.
23:21Shivani, give us more details and also tell us about the larger impact of this move.
23:26Anjelisi, we are seeing a lot of steps being taken by India in order to make Turkiye realize what it has done,
23:34because India had helped Turkiye in the time of need, but during India and Pakistan conflict, Turkiye helped Pakistan.
23:41And now the fresh decision has come from Air India that is looking to send its wide-body planes for heavy maintenance to other countries.
23:49It used to happen by the Turkish Technik still now.
23:53But now for the maintenance and repair purposes, there will be alternate options that are being looked for by Air India.
24:00So that is another big blow to Turkiye in terms of losing its business.
24:04And we already know that against the backdrop of Turkiye backing Pakistan and condemning India's strike-on-terror camps,
24:10India has already taken a lot of steps, Anjelis.
24:13The Turkish company, Tel Aviv Air Force services, services have already been cancelled and revoked in India.
24:19And another big blow has been that DGCA has granted one-time final extension to the two Boeing aircraft of Turkiye only for three months.
24:28So it is losing a lot of business.
24:30And this particular move by the Air India is another blow to Turkiye in which the maintenance and repair services will be looked after by alternate and not Turkiye.
24:39All right, Shivani, thank you so much for getting us all those details and for that context.
24:43With that, we're now shifting focus.
24:45Northeast India is struggling after incessant rain over the past week in several places.
24:51The rains have triggered landslides, disrupting daily life.
24:54Roads were waterlogged, houses destroyed and rivers overflowing.
24:58In Sikkim, water from the T-Star River crossed the danger mark.
25:02This led to the collapse of bridges that were under restoration.
25:05In Assam, over 3 lakh people across 19 districts have been affected.
25:10Three major rivers, the Brahmaputra, Barak and Kushia are flowing above the danger level.
25:16The situation is similar in other northeastern states as well.
25:19Rescue operations are underway by the NDRF, SDRF, Indian Army, State Police and Fire Services.
25:26Yesterday, the Indian Air Force responded to requests from the Assam and Arunachal Pradesh state administrations.
25:3214 individuals stranded in the middle of the flooded Bumjir River in Arunachal Pradesh were airlifted to safety by a MI-17 helicopter.
25:43So, Northeast India is struggling after incessant rain over the past week in several places.
25:53As you can see in the visuals, the kind of devastation that the Northeast has witnessed in the last few days.
26:00The rains have triggered landslides, mudslides, disrupting daily lives.
26:04Roads are waterlogged, houses have been destroyed and the rivers are overflowing.
26:17Several people have been killed across the Northeast following days of relentless monsoon rains that triggered widespread landslides and flash floods.
26:25Authorities have issued alerts across the region as more rain looms.
26:46Waterlogged roads.
26:47Waterlogged roads.
26:48Destroyed houses.
26:53And overflowing rivers.
27:03Relentless rains, floods and landslides causing widespread destruction in Northeast.
27:15Parts of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur and Sikkim are hit hard.
27:24In Assam, thousands across five districts have been affected.
27:36The Brahmaputra river has crossed the danger mark in Dibrugar.
27:41Dibrugar and Lakhimpur reeling under the impact.
27:46Those in low-lying areas have been put on alert.
27:51Dibrugar is an arrest.
27:54This hospital has been forced to be affected by the
28:14ENA.
28:18Manipur, unrelenting rainfall in Imphal Valley for five days affected thousands.
28:25Hundreds of houses have been damaged.
28:29Imphal, Nambul and Iril rivers are in spate, breaching banks, flooding roads.
28:39A massive landslide shot the national highway at Lekop.
28:44Gawana Ajay Bhalla visited affected zones and ordered evacuations.
28:53In Arunachal Pradesh, flash floods claimed multiple lives.
29:04They also destroyed dams, bridges and roads.
29:07Landslides have left NH13 severely damaged.
29:14Evacuation operations have been underway.
29:16And in Sikkim, landslides have left hundreds of tourists stranded.
29:35A portion of the under-construction Sankalang Bridge in North Sikkim collapsed and was washed
29:40away by the Teistar River.
29:50For Lachan Lachung, our tourists have been forced into Lachan Lachung.
29:52And this is one road, this is a bridge that connects Lachan Lachung to the border area.
29:59In Mizoram, multiple houses have collapsed due to heavy rains.
30:16Several flood-related deaths have been reported.
30:21Landslides have also hit the state capital Isol, blocking arterial roads.
30:25In response to severe flooding across parts of Assam and Manipur, the Indian Army and Assam
30:32rifles have launched Operation Jal Rahat 2.
30:38Disaster response teams are braving the deluge to pull hundreds into safety.
30:43Bureau Report, India Today.
30:50And my colleague Tapas and Gupta is joining us from Guwahati.
30:54Tapas, tell us about the current situation and also the latest update on the rescue operation.
30:58Well, see, as far as the north-eastern states are concerned, Manipur, Sikkim, Mizoram remains to be worse affected.
31:08The lower part of Assam is also badly affected.
31:11But today, the intensity of rain have come down a bit.
31:15But it's insistent rain that's going on even in Guwahati, where we are standing right now.
31:20There are a number of operations being launched by Army and the NDRF, Operation Jal Rahat 2, have been launched.
31:28And also in Arunachal Pradesh, the air force have been pressed into service and rescue operations are going on.
31:34But as far as Sikkim is concerned, in the northern part of Sikkim, the Lacheng and Lachun area still remains to be inundated.
31:40And efforts are being made to rescue the stranded tourists.
31:44What have been given to understand that thousands and numbers of tourists are stranded in different hotels.
31:50However, no major casualties or damages have been reported.
31:53But in places connecting from Mangun to Lachung and Laching and upper northern Sikkim,
32:00there are several places where landslides have cut off road connectivity completely.
32:04And that and an incessant rain along with that have made the efforts more difficult for the forces to approach those places and rescue.
32:14But overall situation remains to be quite grim.
32:16All eyes on Manipur also because flood water is gushing in from different areas in Assam, in lower Assam especially and in Guwahati,
32:26parts of Guwahati is also affected.
32:28But today the intensity of rain has gone down.
32:31So it is being perceived that things may improve in a day or two now.
32:35But as of now, the situation is alarming in upper Assam, in lower Assam and parts of Guwahati as well,
32:44in Silshar, in Manipur, in Aizwal and also in Sikkim, the northern part of Sikkim,
32:50which remains to be the worst affected till now.
32:53All right, Tapas, thank you for getting us those details.
32:55We'll keep coming back to you for more updates on this.
32:57As of now, we're shifting focus.
32:59We're getting some breaking news from Bengaluru.
33:00Bengaluru road rage shocker woman beats auto driver with the slippers.
33:13Woman on two-wheeler assaults auto driver.
33:16The woman accuses auto driver of hitting her.
33:20The cops have booked the woman for assault of auto driver
33:23and she even apologised after an FIR was registered.
33:27Bill, make a video
33:29Make a video
33:31Make a video
33:33Make a video
33:35Make a video
33:37Make a video
33:39You don't have a réponse then
33:41We are still using the Zwecels
33:43We are going to make in the comments
33:45We are making a video
33:49Hello
33:53Yes
33:55Okay
33:57So after she assaulted the auto driver and an FIR was registered, the woman apologized.
34:06We were passing by and an incident happened. It was not an intentional thing which we did. So I apologize. And I am pregnant. I also got a joke. So that is what I was thinking that if I got a miscarriage, so what will happen? So there is no hatred for the Kannada language or the Kannada language.
34:34We love Ganga, we love the culture, we love the people. I apologize. And we apologize.
34:41So there is nothing wrong. So if whatever has happened, we apologize.
34:52We respect every auto driver, cab driver or BMTC driver.
34:59He is like my brother. You don't feel like that.
35:02No, no. You come.
35:04He is like your brother and your sister.
35:06You don't feel like that.
35:08And my colleague Sigay Raj is now joining us on this story.
35:13Sigay, could you give us more details about how this entire matter began?
35:16Why did the woman assault the auto driver?
35:19So what we get to learn from the police complaint that has been registered by the auto driver is that he was in his auto and this lady was on her bike and she misunderstood that the auto driver was trying to do road rage and that's when she removed her slipper and slapped him on the middle of the road.
35:38And thereafter, he also requested her to check the CCTV footage to find out who is at mistake and thereafter she said that we'll go to the police station but she never turned up.
35:47But the auto driver has registered a police complaint and the video has gone viral.
35:51Now both husband and wife have come to the police station and apologized and she claimed that she was pregnant and she was worried about that.
35:58And that is the reason she had slapped her and she has also apologized to the driver stating that she will never try to do all these things next time.
36:05So Sigay, now that the woman has apologized, has the complaint been taken back?
36:10There was an affair which has been registered. The police have not given any confirmation if the complaint has been withdrawn or not.
36:17So we need to wait and watch whether the complaint will be withdrawn. There is no official word from the police on the scene.
36:22Alright, Sigay, thank you for getting us those details on this incident that is coming to the fore from Bengaluru where a woman assaulted an auto driver
36:31and after that an FIR was registered against the woman and she also apologized.
36:37And we are now getting some more breaking news. Foreign aid nod for Maharashtra. Kerala sees red.
36:56Kerala government claims centre's bias. Kerala says not allowed foreign aid in 2018 flood asked to shun UAE aid by centre.
37:06That's the update that is coming in. Foreign aid nod for Maharashtra but not for the state of Kerala.
37:12Kerala government now claims centre's bias after this decision. Kerala claims that they were not allowed foreign aid in 2018 flood.
37:21My colleague Shibimul is now joining us with more details on this. Shibimul, on one hand, there is foreign aid that has been approved for Maharashtra.
37:30But on the other hand, Kerala sees red.
37:36Well, exactly Anjali, that is what the CPI as well as the CPI is raising. In fact, the finance minister of Kerala, Tain Balagopal, you know, raised this issue saying that this is unfair, this is death motherly treatment towards Kerala.
37:50We are not against Maharashtra getting any sort of foreign aid. If a state is under crisis, state requires such aid, that should be allowed.
37:57But we are also a reminder of the incident in 2018 when Kerala faced devastating floods. We also went forward with such a request because to, you know, to receive foreign aid, we need to get the permission of centre for a state to receive that centre's permission required.
38:12And during that time, the centre has said that, you know, India do not require any sort of foreign aid. India can manage it on its own, is what the centre has said.
38:22And the foreign aid was denied by the state government. They are saying that since Malayali and Keralites are settled across the world, in many parts of the world, they were offered from UAE as well as other Malayali organisations settled across the world.
38:37But all of that was denied saying this. But the same thing has been allowed for Maharashtra. So how is it fair is what the state is asking.
38:45Even Finance Minister Balagopal also raises the issue of why not manslide saying that even during the event when the manslide happened, we are not yet given anything.
38:53So how is it fair? Is it because of our political choices or, you know, or is it because the centre wants to treat us differently because we chose to, you know, the state and the people in Kerala chose to, you know,
39:06Kerala chose to support the different parties, what the state government here is asking.
39:11All right, Shibimul, thank you for those details and for that context. With that, we're now shifting our focus.
39:18The stage is set for battleground West Bengal. Amit Shah has sounded the poll bugle and has claimed that the state will get a BJP chief minister in 2026.
39:27Can BJP's Sindur end TMC's Khela in Bengal? Take a look at this report for more.
39:32Let the press for
39:37For the arms and the affecting,
39:39For the members to be checked,
39:41For the parents and families to avoid haven't been checked,
39:46For the Hindus, give us a chance to give us a chance to our Modi ji.
39:56We will give us a boost and a boost.
39:59If the government will raise the government of Mamata,
40:03we will raise the government of thousands of rupiahs.
40:06We will raise the government of Bengal,
40:08and we will raise the syndicate of Trinimul Congress.
40:12Do we have to stop or do we have to stop?
40:15The battle for Bengal intensifying.
40:21Home Minister Amit Shah sounding the poll bugle,
40:24predicting BJP's win in next stage polls,
40:27ousting Mamata.
40:30Shah's war cry, Mamata hattao, Bangal bachao.
40:35Amit Shah's visit comes as part of BJP's strategy,
40:41to make its cadre battle ready.
40:42Shah vowed that BJP will fold Mamata Banerjee's long cherished dream,
40:47of making her nephew the Chief Minister.
41:01Aamit Shah's visit comes as part of BJP's strategy,
41:04to make its cadre battle ready.
41:06Shah vowed that BJP will fold Mamata Banerjee's long cherished dream,
41:10of making her nephew the Chief Minister.
41:13Shah accused Mamata of bringing in lawlessness,
41:23infiltration, scams and targeted attacks on Hindus for Muslim appeasement.
41:38Vowing to stop the rot when BJP grabs power.
41:43In Mursidabad in Mursidabad,
41:46the leader of the Bengal government,
41:50who was in this country,
41:53was a state-sponsored country.
41:56Modi Ji has given the law of the CIA,
42:00that our Sarnarthi brothers and brothers
42:04will get the rights.
42:06But Mamata Banerjee's TMC is pushing back.
42:11TMC hit back at Home Minister's scam charges,
42:14calling him the head of BJP's washing machine campaign.
42:18TMC also accused Amit Shah of using cheap language against Mamata,
42:23and promoting divisive politics.
42:26The Home Minister comes to Bengal,
42:29and acts like a BJP karyakarta.
42:32Would any opposition leader like this be allowed to go to Gujarat,
42:37and speak in Gujarat in the way Mr. Amit Shah has come to Bengal,
42:42and Netaji in Netaji Indo Stadium,
42:44the way he has spoken in this cheap language.
42:48This verbal battle comes just days after PA Modi's visit to Bengal,
42:52where he accused the TMC government of being a Nirmam Sarkar,
42:56which is blind to the plight of people facing violence in Murshidabad and Malda.
43:03the people of Bengal are on the street,
43:06and the government of this Nirmam Sarkar is not going to be the problem.
43:15In Bengal in Bengal,
43:18we won't be the problem,
43:19we shouldn't be the Nirmam Sarkar.
43:23Modi's attack had prompted Mamata to hit back hard, daring the PM into a televised debate
43:32with his teleprompter.
43:33As we inch closer towards 2026, it's clear that Bengal's future will be determined not
43:58just by the issues of the state, but also by larger national narratives.
44:03But the bigger question is, can BJP's sindoor end TMC's khela in Bengal?
44:10Bureau Report, India Today.
44:19And we're getting some breaking news.
44:21Virat Kohli's Bengaluru pub lands in trouble.
44:24Heat on Virat Kohli's pub for no smoking zone.
44:27Virat Kohli's pub 1-8 faced FIR in June last year.
44:32The pub faced heat for overshooting closing time.
44:35The civic body noticed to 1-8 for no fire NOC.
44:39But the latest update that is coming in is that Virat Kohli's Bengaluru pub has landed in trouble
44:45for having no smoking zone in the pub.
44:48My colleague Sagai Raj is now joining us with more details on this entire matter.
44:52Sagai, over to you.
44:53So, recently the Karnarka government have passed an order stating that everybody should have
44:59a designated smoking room.
45:00And they have also passed an order saying that the age of smoking criteria has been increased
45:05from 18 to 21.
45:07And now there is a notice that has been issued to Virat Kohli's 1-8 in commune pub in Bengaluru
45:13where they have asked that they have not followed the guidelines because there should be a dedicated
45:17smoking area for this bar and pub and restaurant in Bengaluru.
45:23Despite that, they have violated that.
45:25And now they have issued a notice.
45:27And there is an affair which has been registered on the same.
45:29All right, Sagai, thank you for getting us to those details.
45:32And with that, we are now shifting focus.
45:36A horrific terror attack rocked United States, Colorado.
45:40The attack took place during a demonstration in Boulder for the Israeli hostages held in Gaza.
45:46Suspecting this attack has been detained by the cops.
45:49A man threw Molotov cocktails and used a makeshift flamethrower on a group of people gathered
45:55to remember Israeli hostages.
45:57The attacker, identified as Mohammed Sabri Soleiman, shouted free Palestine while assaulting the crowd
46:03and has been taken into custody.
46:05Soleiman is also said to be an illegal immigrant from Egypt.
46:10FBI Chief Kash Patel called it a targeted act of terror.
46:13Six people were injured after the suspect threw Molotov cocktails into the crowd.
46:18The incident comes amid heightened tensions in the United States over Israel's war in Gaza,
46:23which has spurred both an increase in anti-Semitic hate crime,
46:28as well as moves by conservative supporters of Israel, led by President Donald Trump,
46:32to brand pro-Palestinian protests as anti-Semitic.
46:36I'm able to confirm there are six victims, ages 67 to 88.
46:43All of them have been transported to local hospitals.
46:48This attack happened at a regularly scheduled weekly peaceful event.
46:53Witnesses are reporting that the subject used a makeshift flamethrower
46:57and threw an incendiary device into the crowd.
47:02The suspect was heard to yell, free Palestine, during the attack.
47:07The subject has been identified as Mohammed Sabri Salomon, and he's 45 years old.
47:15The FBI is processing the crime scene in the subject vehicle and interviewing key witnesses.
47:20We're assisting Boulder police in providing technical, analytic, and additional forensic resources.
47:27As a result of these preliminary facts, it is clear that this is a targeted act of violence,
47:33and the FBI is investigating this as an act of terrorism.
47:36As many of you are aware, we have several blocks closed off in downtown Boulder surrounding the courthouse.
47:43We are still clearing that area for devices.
47:45When this call came out today, our officers rushed as quickly as they could somewhere close to the area,
47:51and they immediately ran into a chaotic situation where a man was throwing Molotov cocktails
47:57and using other devices to hurt people.
47:59The last update I had is that at least one victim was very seriously injured,
48:04probably safe to say critical condition, and then other victims received more minor injuries.
48:09I think there's a wide range, but we haven't talked to doctors yet
48:13and gotten an actual rundown of specific injuries.
48:16There is no absolute confirmation about the motive behind the attack,
48:19but however, you can make out that, you know, how the attack was carried out.
48:24It was carried out in a mall where the peaceful walk was being organized by the local Jewish community
48:31in support of the Gaza hostages.
48:35And this is not the first time they have organized this event,
48:38but this Mohamed Suleiman Sabri, the man who was said to be an illegal immigrant from Egypt,
48:44has carried out this attack, a targeted attack of violence,
48:49where the Molotov cocktails were used, like, you know, to cause and inflict the burn injuries.
48:55Also, the flamethrower device was used, as told by the police authorities,
49:00and they are still investigating.
49:01They are also looking for further devices, if there are any,
49:04because they are also, like, you know, investigating whether it's a coordinated thing,
49:09whether he has been, you know, used by someone else, or this is a lone wolf attack.
49:15However, in this case, you must have seen the statement coming from the FBI director, Kash Patil,
49:20also the director of national intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard,
49:23because she has also, you know, stated in a statement that the counter-terrorism center of the United States
49:29has been activated after this Boulder, Colorado attack.
49:33And this is not for the first time this is such kind of incident took place in the United States.
49:38In the recent past, we have seen that the American Jewish Museum,
49:42where an attacker killed two Israel embassy staffers,
49:46and these, in both these attacks, the attacker chanted, like, you know,
49:51he yelled, free Palestine, after carrying out these attacks.
49:54So, in this case, also, in Boulder, Colorado,
49:57Mohamed Suleiman Sabri used free Palestine,
50:00and, you know, after yelling, and he threw the Moldova cocktails,
50:05he also used the flamethrowers.
50:09World champion D. Gukesh pulled off a stunning victory
50:12against former world number one Magnus Carlsen
50:15in round six of the ongoing Norway Chester in 2025 tournament,
50:19turning the game around from a losing position.
50:22This marked Gukesh's first-ever classical win over the Norwegian Grandmaster.
50:27The 19-year-old also became only the second Indian player
50:30to defeat Magnus Carlsen in the history of the competition
50:33after Ramesh Babu Pragnananda.
50:36Visibly frustrated, Magnus was seen storming off after the loss,
50:40even banging his hand on the board.
