01:21Most of the things you'll do is feed them, non-stop, and walk with them.

01:25Short trekking in will not tire you.

01:27No touching, although some tourists cannot avoid the urge to touch them.

01:33I enjoyed the simple lunch prepared by the locals.

02:15hike to the river with them and get in the water and feed them.

02:22We were glad that we booked this activity as we supported an ethical elephant sanctuary.

02:29No riding, no forced bathing slash showering, no forced performing.

02:34Elephants roam freely as they please in their natural habitat.

02:37You can really feel that they were just enjoying themselves.

02:40They were like little kids enjoying their time in their little paradise.

02:58The experience is incredible, even more so if you have never seen one up close,

03:03being able to feed them is something unique.

03:05The sanctuary is far away, and it is a trip on a winding road, bring Dramamine ha ha, I highly recommend it.

03:12It is always a pleasant experience being with the elephants, no matter where they are in the world, lol.

03:19This sanctuary is a lot smaller than the more popular ones,

03:22but this is 100% ethical as you are not allowed to touch the elephants.

03:27You can only feed them and watch them and take care of them from a distance.

03:30No riding or even bathing is allowed.

03:32This is a family-run sanctuary and they are hoping to buy more land so they can take care of more elephants.

03:37The elephant experience was amazing.

03:40You can see that they really take care of them, amazing care team.

03:44The only issue is that when you book your full day trip,

03:46you supposed to expend time again with the elephants and it didn't happen.

03:50They took us to a waterfall but without the elephants.
