WATCH: Tenby teen DJ Dainton on the decks in Ibiza!

Tenby student Dainton Jones has returned home after wowing audiences on the decks at the party capital of the world - Ibiza this month, stating it was a ‘dream’ come true!
Under the name DJ Dainton the Ysgol Greenhill pupil who is a native of Kilgetty, has been an avid DJ enthusiast since the age of 11.
Since November 2024 Dainton has been attending a DJ academy in Swansea - ‘GP Academy’ - owned by successful DJ Greg Pickin who also owns and runs the nightclub called Heaven in Wind Street.
Dainton was given the opportunity to play the island at the age of 15 - when he set off for the ‘100% Weekender’ on May 21 - when he was chosen along with seven other DJs from Greg’s academy to play in the 5 day event.
Dainton played in ‘Bam Bu Ku’ - part of the Ocean Beach Group on the Friday, and then again in ‘Plastik Nightclub’ on the Sunday.
“It’s just a dream to be out here. It’s a lot of fun to be honest,” he said.
DJ Greg Pickin shared: “What a few days we have had! I’ve probably cried happy tears all weekend!
“I’ve been beaming watching all my mates fulfil their dreams and play out in Ibiza.”
