00:27First when I heard about this project I said this must be fun and actually we decided to
00:45use traditional techniques what Madame Tussauds would use 200 years ago.
00:51We approached the project exactly how we would approach if it would sculpt or create
00:56a human figure.
00:58So the first step was we had a sitting, we were quite lucky because actually we had the
01:03model available at Madame Tussauds London for the sitting.
01:07So we took measurements, we took reference pictures and then we started to sculpt it into
01:13clay.
01:26So I want to take a little space.
01:40Action.
01:45So I'll create this base colour, I will then add in several layers different colours,
02:04so that would be oranges, yellows, greens, reds.
02:18So we build up these layers which gives the sausage roll the Greggs iconic golden glaze.
02:34We put it on display on the 5th of June, which is National Sausage Roll Day, and I hope we
02:43can surprise some people, the visitors, imagine they walk into Madame Tussauds London and middle
02:49of the attraction they will see the first Greggs wax sausage roll figure.
03:04So, we'll see you next time.
