00:00The time has come, but you lip-sync for the crown!
00:06Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the most spectacular lip-sync performances and battles of all time.
00:14So don't slip me now!
00:19Number 20. Anna Kendrick vs. John Krasinski, Lip-Sync Battle.
00:24The first season of this Spike TV show gave us some seriously iconic lip-syncs.
00:28We never, ever do nothing nice, easy. We always do it nice, rough.
00:38Krasinski delivered a sassy and sequin-filled rendition of Tina Turner's Proud Mary, which he punctuated with stunning moves.
00:45But Anna Kendrick's fabulous showcase blew him out of the water.
00:49I'm dead.
00:51She made Jennifer Lopez's hit Booty come alive, even bringing the singer on stage in a surprise cameo.
01:03You know you did a good job when J-Lo says you're killing it.
01:06Honestly, Kendrick could probably do a great cover of the song herself.
01:09We know she has the vocal chops. Needless to say, it is a great moment.
01:14Why I decided to sing a song about booty on the same stage as J-Lo's booty, I will never know.
01:20Number 19. Monet X Change vs. Dusty Ray Bottoms, RuPaul's Drag Race.
01:25Drag Race Season 10's The Last Ball on Earth called for more sci-fi looks, and this performance was out of this world.
01:32You know we get it hotter and hotter, sexy and hotter to shut it down.
01:37During the lip-sync for your life to Nicki Minaj's Pound the Alarm, Monet and Dusty attempted to shut it all down with their moves.
01:44While Dusty was a consummate professional, Monet proved to be far more fun and convincing.
01:58Her movements were on beat, and her brassy choreography matched Minaj's vocals perfectly.
02:03Also, her split fake-out and gas-mask gag had the judges roaring.
02:08It's no wonder she ended up the season's Miss Congeniality.
02:25Number 18. Jinx Monsoon vs. Detox, RuPaul's Drag Race.
02:30The sugar ball ended with Jinx and Detox facing a terrifying possibility.
02:35Elimination.
02:36They were indeed fighting for their lives.
02:38This is a perfect song for me to play up a shtick.
02:42Thank God I'm not wearing that hoop skirt.
02:45Malambo No. 1 by Ima Sumac is a tongue twister of a tune, with both operatic high notes and rapid-fire Spanish.
02:52The two queens pulled off brave routines, with Detox using her dexterous jaw to her advantage.
02:57She's playing the opera singer, she's doing her quirky little lip-moving thing.
03:02If I was Jinx, I'd be worried.
03:04Jinx's dance moves and comedic skills carried the battle, though, taking her opponent out of the competition.
03:09Jinx ended up as Season 5's winner, and this battle was a harbinger of great things to come.
03:15Jinx's dance moves and dance moves and dance moves and dance moves and dance moves and dance moves and dance moves.
03:24Number 17. Anne Hathaway vs. Emily Blunt. Lip Sync Battle.
03:28Anne Hathaway came in like a wrecking ball in this legendary showcase.
03:32In the second round of their battle, Emily Blunt performed Peace of My Heart.
03:35You know you got it!
03:38Wow, I'm a tater!
03:41Her impression was impressive enough.
03:43Hathaway, for her part, delivered an effortless lip-sync to Wrecking Ball, dressed like Miley Cyrus herself.
03:48I want you to break your walls.
03:52All you ever did was everything.
03:57To say she brought down the house would be an understatement.
04:00After all, she jumped on the actual Wrecking Ball.
04:03Her interaction with Blunt was also priceless.
04:06And to think, it wasn't Hathaway's idea to do the song, but her friend Jenny Lewis' suggestion.
04:11Talk about a winning thought.
04:12It's true! I know!
04:16So, so, I mean, that performance actually had balls.
04:22Number 16. Dita Ritz vs. The Princess.
04:24RuPaul's Drag Race.
04:26Natalie Cole's This Will Be an Everlasting Love is a classic for a reason.
04:29So, it was only fitting that it was chosen for a drag race battle.
04:33The twist?
04:34The queens had to perform it in front of Cole herself, who was a guest judge.
04:38You've given me the thrill of a lifetime
04:41And made me believe you've got more thrills to spare.
04:46Though visibly under pressure, Dita pulled off an energetic and lively lip-sync, complete with hair-flipping.
04:52She easily eclipsed Princess's more contained style.
04:55This will be you and me
04:58Come on!
04:59Yes, I'll read
05:00Well, eternally
05:02Indeed, Dita won this round, making Cole proud.
05:06She would eventually have to sashay away later in the season, but this became an everlasting performance on her part.

05:25Granted, Tyson's take on Salt-N-Pepa's Push It was fun and energetic, replete with bling.
05:38But the image of Terry Crews on the piano miming to Vanessa Carlton's A Thousand Miles is indelibly engraved in our minds.
05:45And I need you
05:46And I miss you
05:49And now I wonder
05:53How this muscle-bound actor got away with such a convincing rendition is a marvel.
05:58It helped that he embodied the emotion of the song so wholeheartedly and without restraint, bringing us back to those white chicks days.
06:05He was definitely a pro, but it also went to show how great the power of lip sync and illusion can be.
06:11Now if I can just sleep with you, if I can just hold you tonight.
06:26Number 14, Neil Patrick Harris vs. Laverne Cox vs. Taraji P. Henson vs. Haley Steinfeld.
06:32Lip sync battle.
06:33Before the show returned for Season 4, we got a special treat, a whole episode dedicated to Michael Jackson.
06:44Where to start with these powerhouses?
06:46There was Neil Patrick Harris' dashingly smooth rendition of Smooth Criminal in a white suit.
06:50We also can't forget Laverne Cox's Expressive Dirty Diana or Taraji P. Henson's bold take on Beat It.
07:01In the end though, Haley Steinfeld's dazzling and uninhibited The Way You Make Me Feel was the clear winner.
07:07It was a great episode, and the group number Wannabe Startin' Something was awe-inspiring in and of itself.
07:12Number 13, Monet X Change vs. Shea Coulee, RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars.
07:27It goes without saying, but Ella Fitzgerald is a tough act to keep up with.
07:31In this All-Star 7 episode, top two queens Monet and Shea lip-synced to the Jazz Queen's rendition of Old MacDonald.
07:37They had to nail the rapid-fire delivery while convincingly portraying Fitzgerald's vocal swoops and jumps, too.
07:50It was no small task, and both kept it up admirably, but only one could emerge victorious.
07:56While Monet's arm moves and jokes were always fun, Shea's convincing lip-sync and elegant choreography were superior.
08:13She won the round, but honestly, it was a tricky one in both respects.
08:18Number 12, Joseph Gordon-Levitt vs. Anthony Mackie, Lip-sync Battle.
08:42This Christmas special was something, well, special.
08:45Anthony Mackie started things off with a bang, embodying Too Legit to Quit.
08:50The Marvel star delivered a smooth and on-point rap lip-sync in this MC Hammer tribute.
08:58By all accounts, he could have easily won the round.
09:06Ultimately, though, Gordon-Levitt took things to the next level with Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation.
09:10Five, four, three, two, one.
09:20With a ponytail and a full black ensemble, he pulled off the infamously tricky choreography with seamless panache.
09:26Not one beat was missed.
09:28We've all been a part of this Rhythm Nation since.
09:31Number 11, Emma Stone vs. Jimmy Fallon, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
09:54Jimmy Fallon is no slouch when it comes to lip-syncing, with many battles under his belt.
09:58In this showdown against Emma Stone, he handled fast rap sections very well.
10:10Stone was not gonna go down without a fight, though, and proved her lip-sync game is one for the history books.
10:16After delivering an excellently raw take on Hook by Blues Traveler,
10:20she gave us an astounding rendition of DJ Khaled's All I Do Is Win.
10:23And every time I step up in the building, everybody hands go up, and they stay there.
10:31Not only did she nail the main song, but she handled Ludacris' rap verse like a pro.
10:36Needless to say, she easily eclipsed Fallon.
10:39All this actress does is win, no matter what.
10:42Make millions every year, the South's champion.
10:45Cause all I do, all I, all I, all I do is win, win, win, no matter what.
10:50Number 10, Dwayne The Rock Johnson vs. Jimmy Fallon, Lip Sync Battle.
10:54It was the lip-sync master against The Rock.
10:57Who would win?
10:58You knew it, we knew it.
10:59We got a guy like this, he's been running his mouth all week,
11:02he's been telling the world he's gonna beat me,
11:04but like Tay-Tay and like we all do when we hear trash talk, we just shake it off.
11:09Johnson delivered a simple but effective routine set to Taylor Swift's big hit, Shake It Off.
11:14With impressive shoulder choreography and perfectly timed jumping, he started and ended strong.
11:26Fallon's fun and cute performance of Harry Belafonte's Jump the Line couldn't quite beat it,
11:31and ended up with the host falling prostrate on the floor exhausted.
11:34We all love to jump in the line, but when it comes time to Shake It Off, it's hard to beat The Rock.
11:39Feed It Down, pray, pray, pray, pray, pray.
11:42You won't beat me, pray, pray, pray.
11:45Who's gonna save, save, save, save, save.
11:48I'll shake it, I'll shake it off.
11:50Number 9, Jujubee vs. Raven, RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars.
11:55The inaugural edition of Drag Race All-Stars was not everyone's favorite,
11:59but it certainly gave us some highlights, like this one.
12:02Jujubee and Raven were a team competing against others with the portmanteau RuJubee.
12:06Then, they were up for elimination.
12:08lip-syncing to Robin's Dancing on My Own.
12:18This turned out to be an emotional performance, less of a battle and more like a duet.
12:24The fact that both of these queens basically tried to throw it for the other
12:27was heartbreakingly bittersweet enough.
12:38It was a wonderful tribute to their friendship, so much so that RuPaul did not eliminate either
12:43of them.
12:44Perhaps she couldn't, and we totally get it.
13:03Roxy and Alyssa got their groove on with a lip-sync to Willow Smith's Whip My Hair.
13:08There was a lot of impressive hair-whipping to be sure, but it was also the performance
13:17that led to that iconic reveal on Roxy's part, where she took off her wig to reveal another
13:22early in the song.
13:30She had RuPaul and all of us gagged.
13:33Alyssa was no slouch either, delivering an equally passionate routine and stunning hair-ography
13:38as well.
13:39The two queens were so in sync that RuPaul decided to have both of them stay.
13:43These two ate and left no crumbs.
13:50Number 7.
13:51Paul Rudd vs. Jimmy Fallon
13:52The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
13:54One of Jimmy Fallon's earlier lip-sync battles showcased the talents of Paul Rudd.
13:59Indeed, the duo faced off against each other with a formidable song series.
14:02I whispered in the night
14:06I'm captured by your spell
14:09Rudd displayed great comic timing with Tina Turner's Better Be Good To Me.
14:15Fallon pulled off a great lip-sync of Foreigner's Jukebox Hero,
14:18executed with epic rock star panache.
14:20But in the end, it was Rudd's showcase of Queen's 1979 hit Don't Stop Me Now that truly wowed us.
14:37With incredibly convincing miming, he delivered the tune with cheeky earnestness.
14:41Girl, girl, girl, girl
14:44There's no stopping me
14:46I'm running through the sky
14:49To watch the degrees
14:51Just while they call me Mr. Barenthood
14:53You just can't beat that.
14:56Number 6.
14:57Trinity K. Bonet vs. Laganja Estranja
14:59RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars
15:01Laganja made an iconic entrance on All-Star 6 with a flawless split,
15:05making it clear she was taking her role of lip-sync assassin very seriously.
15:09Trinity and Laganja then got literally physical during their performance to Dua Lipa's, you guessed it, Physical.
15:15Got me feeling diamond rich
15:18Nothing on this planet compares to it
15:21Don't you agree?
15:24Don't you agree?
15:28Who needs to go to sleep when I got you next to me?
15:31Both were fabulous in their own right,
15:33with Trinity holding our attention with her perfectly synchronized moves.
15:36But Laganja's spine-bending lip-sync and gymnastics were too impressive to ignore.
15:41I am gagged.
15:43This is such a dream come true for me to experience live.
15:47Let's get physical!
15:50She went hard and won the battle.
15:52Silky Nutmeg Ganache went home by group vote as a result.
15:55Laganja was there for a short time in her role as the assassin,
15:59but she truly did lip-sync for her legacy.
16:01Lies, girl,
16:03Tottles and lies
16:04Baby, keep on dancing like you ain't got a choice
16:07Number 5
16:08Sasha Velour vs. Shea Coulee
16:10RuPaul's Drag Race
16:11Peppermint and Trinity graced this Season 9 episode with strong performances,
16:16set to Britney Spears' Stronger.
16:17But it was Sasha and Shea's lip-sync battle to Whitney Houston's So Emotional that was really special.
16:22Living the world of fantasies
16:25I can get you out of my head
16:28With Shea's excellent dancing and Sasha's expressive miming,
16:32the battle got more and more intense in conjunction with Houston's vocals.
16:36Both of them served.
16:37Of course, it was hard to beat Sasha's fluttering rose petals and wig shaking.
16:41Nobody could believe what they were witnessing.
16:43And it's all, it's all, it's all, baby
16:46Baby, it's shocking
16:47Now you can see
16:50To this day, it remains one of the most unforgettable drag race performances of all time.
16:56It's no wonder she emerged victorious in the round and ultimately won the season.
17:00Now, France! France, I said!
17:10Number 4
17:11Channing Tatum vs. Jenna Dewan
17:13Lip-sync battle
17:14Jenna Dewan was giving us diva in the best way here.
17:18In this season 2 premiere, she faced off against Channing Tatum with an exquisitely choreographed rendition of Cold-Hearted.
17:24She even got Paula Abdul to make a special appearance.
17:27It's a love that's what you play
17:29We don't play by you
17:31Girl, don't play the thing that's what you do
17:36Tatum's lip-sync of Frozen's Let It Go gave them a run for their money, though.
17:40In full Elsa costume on a snow-capped stage, he wholeheartedly embodied Idina Menzel.
17:45It became crystal clear very fast that these two were not afraid to get fully into character.
17:59In fact, that's saying nothing of her slaying Pony and him proving that girls do indeed run the world with some help from Beyoncé.
18:07Number 3
18:13Brooklyn Heights vs. Evie Oddly
18:15RuPaul's Drag Race
18:17The eventual winner of Season 11 treated us to this legendary lip-sync.
18:21Evie Oddly and Brooklyn Heights went head-to-head bringing Demi Lovato's Sorry Not Sorry to life.
18:26Honestly, both killed it.
18:28There was Brooklyn's sensual diva choreography and seamless body drops, and Evie's acrobatics and fabulous moves.
18:46They showed off their dexterous limbs without missing a word.
18:49Better walk, better walk, that walk, baby
18:52I am talking, talk, baby
18:55Better walk, better walk, baby
18:58We couldn't bear for either to be eliminated, and thankfully, neither of them was.
19:03While Evie got the crown at the end of the season, Brooklyn was the runner-up.
19:07Sorry Not Sorry, these queens slayed.
19:09Alien is fire, cause the tables have turned
19:12You can't have a mind, but I know it is fine
19:16Number 2
19:18Tom Holland vs. Zendaya
19:19Lip-sync battle
19:20Who could ever forget this legendary Tom Holland moment?
19:24I'm singing in the rain
19:27Just singing in the rain
19:30What a glorious feeling
19:33I'm happy again
19:35Zendaya delivered a stunning rendition of Bruno Mars' 24K Magic
19:39with dexterous sliding choreography and some fly moves
19:42But even her on-point showcase could not match Holland's brilliant mashup of singing in the rain and Umbrella
19:49He recreated Gene Kelly's iconic scene before making a seamless transition to Rihanna's pop hit
19:54Complete with rain on the stage, some leather and spectacular choreography
20:07He made the Lip-sync battle history books
20:09He was not playing around, and we cannot thank him enough for his services

20:42Alyssa Edwards vs. Tatiana
20:44RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars
20:46Here, Alyssa and Tatiana perform Shut Up and Drive with such eerily close in-sync choreography
20:52one would think this were a collaboration rather than a fight
20:55With drops, acrobatics, and stunning hair shaking
21:06These queens seemed to be feeding off one another
21:08Delivering perfectly complimentary routines
21:11It almost seemed like they had rehearsed it beforehand
21:14Unsurprisingly, RuPaul declared them both victorious
21:28Not only is this battle considered one of the best to ever come out of the Drag Race franchise
21:33But the whole episode is similarly lauded
21:36We couldn't ask for anything more
