PART TWO OF THE TRILOGY
"Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle" is the second installment in the "Godzilla" anime trilogy, following "Planet of the Monsters". It picks up where the first film left off, with humans battling Godzilla in a new, 300-meter tall version of the monster. The story sees Haruo and his allies encountering the Houtua, a group of sub-human descendants of the original humans, and discovering the remnants of Mechagodzilla, a robotic weapon thought lost. The focus shifts to using this weapon, now a city, to fight Godzilla.
