00:32But I want to make sure that the foreign students are people that can love our country.

01:18And they have, you know, they have a fund, 52, an endowment, $52 billion.

01:25They get a lot of that from the United States.

01:28And I think it's ridiculous.

01:30And I think this, everyone's coming up to me saying, we love the idea of trade schools.

01:37With that kind of money, and money from others, but money from them, you can have the best

01:41trade schools anywhere in the world.

01:44You give them to Iowa, Indiana, lots of good states, well-run states, and you give them

01:50the money.

01:51They'll only be used for trade schools.

01:52And they'll teach people how to build motors, and cars, and AI, you know, the AI.

01:58We're building plants.

01:59We're building hundreds of billions of dollars' worth of AI plants.

02:05Already started many of them.

02:06We've never had a boom like we're having now.

02:08You're going to see it.

02:09There's never been anything like it.

02:11So we're up to about $14 trillion in investments.

02:15There's never been anything even close.

02:17You look at Biden.

02:19This guy, they had people leaving as opposed to investing.

02:22And they're doing it because of November, really, November 5th, and they're doing it

02:26because of the tariffs.

02:28The tariffs have been tremendous.

02:31Well, I can promise you, and I have great respect for the people at the European Union,

02:37they wouldn't be over here today negotiating if I didn't put a 50% tariff on.

02:43The sad thing is now when I make a deal with them, it's something much more reasonable.

02:47They'll say, oh, he was chicken.

02:49He was chicken.

02:51That's so unbelievable.

02:52On Harvard, Mr. President ...

02:53I usually have the opposite problem.

02:55They say, you're too tough.

02:57Mr. President, on Harvard, there were some Jewish students protesting on campus yesterday.

03:02They said they don't want you making these huge cuts, cutting off student visas to Harvard

03:09in their name because they thought they were a target.

03:12Well, Harvard has to show us ...

03:13Okay.

03:14Harvard has to show us their lists.

03:15They have foreign students.

03:17About 31% of their students are foreign-based, almost 31%.

03:23We want to know where those students come.

03:25Are they troublemakers?

03:26What countries do they come?

03:27And we're not going to ... If somebody is coming from a certain country and they're 100% fine,

03:32which I hope most of them are, but many of them won't be, you're going to see some very

03:36radical people.

03:37They're taking people from areas of the world that are very radicalized.

03:42And we don't want them making trouble in our country.

03:44So I saw yesterday that in the middle of the UK, there was a nice young man.

03:53He wants to go back to school at Harvard, and he looked good to me, but I want to check

03:56his past.

03:57But we want to be able to see why ... You know, these countries aren't helping us.

04:02They're not investing in Harvard and all of our ... We are.

04:06So why would 31% ... Why would a number so big ... I think ... Number one, I think they

04:10should have a cap of maybe around 15%, not 31%.

04:15We have people who want to go to Harvard and other schools.

04:17They can't get in because we have foreign students there.

04:21But I want to make sure that the foreign students are people that can love our country.

04:26We don't want to see shopping centers exploding.

04:28We don't want to see the kind of riots that you had.

04:30And I'll tell you what, many of those students didn't go anywhere.

04:33Many of those students were troublemakers caused by the radical left lunatics in this country.
