PAGASA forecasts up to 45°C heat index on May 28

As temperatures remain high across various parts of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) warned that the heat index may reach 42°C to 45°C on Wednesday, May 28. 00:00Pero ngayon po, aasahan pa rin sa may Butuan City hanggang 45 degrees po na heat index.

00:05Gayun din sa Metro Manila, between 40 to 42 degrees ang maximum heat index for today.

00:10At susundan niya ng 44 degrees na delikadong heat index sa may Lawag City, Lagupan City, Aparicagayan, and Masbati City.

00:18Kaya paalala pa rin sa ating mga kababayan na hindi naman po makakaranas ng malalakas sa mga pagulan for today.

00:24Expect pa rin po na magkakaroon pa rin ng direktang sikat ng araw na medyo masakit po sa ating katawan, sa ating balat.

00:30Kaya uminom pa rin ng tubig at magdala ng pananggalang sa init.

00:34Gaya po ng payong, sumbrero at parapesco ang pakiramdam, magdala na rin po ng pamaypay.

00:39Base naman sa ating latest heat index map, asahan po yung mataas na chance ng mga delikadong heat indices

00:45sa may Ilocos Region, sa mga kapatagan po ng Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Zambales,

00:51ilang bahagi pa ng Bicol Region, Northern Samar, at ilang bahagi ng Caraga Region, and Zamboanga Peninsula.
