David Lucas was a BNP Euro Election candidate who was arrested on ridiculous trumped up charges early in the campaign. He was bailed to appear at Bury St. Edmonds police station today to find out whether or not he will be charged. National Elections Officer Eddy Butler and BNPtvs Cllr Paul Golding led a BNP solidarity demonstration at the police station and interviewed David upon his release.
