00:00This is real life firebending.
00:02We're also testing the world's strongest laser,
00:05melting through metal with my finger,
00:07and making a giant flaming rocket.
00:09Starting with level one,
00:10we're gonna make a mini rocket at home.
00:12This is 99% rubbing alcohol.
00:15Just a little bit, you just want to coat the sides.
00:18We drew a hole in the middle of the bottle cap.
00:20This might break some things, but three, two, one.
00:24Oh my God, that's crazy.
00:32And that was just level one.
00:33Later in the video, we're making a flaming rocket
00:36that's gonna fly 10 times higher,
00:38a giant smoke cannon, and so much more.
00:40I did not sign up for this.
00:42On to the next level.
00:43This next experiment is called the fire tornado.
00:46I need you to rip this sponge into small little pieces
00:50and put it in this container.
00:52Don't need this no more.
00:53Now, this is a can of butane,
00:56which is lighter fluid.
00:58Light it.
01:01We're adding our fencing to allow air to flow
01:04in a circular motion.
01:05And once we spin it,
01:07it creates a giant tornado effect.
01:09It's a nice little tornado effect.
01:12And if we put a balloon over it.
01:17Oh my God.
01:19On to the next experiment.
01:20Next, we have two aluminum can experiments.
01:22For the first one, we just need some drain cleaner.
01:25Stuff you can buy at the hardware store.
01:27I'm gonna fill this up.
01:28Now, as my assistant, I need you to sand this Coke can.
01:34That's pretty good.
01:34Now we've sanded off all the labels.
01:36Oh, we're gonna put this in.
01:39It's like instantly dissolving.
01:41That's crazy.
01:42Up next is aluminum can versus gallium.
01:45So the special thing about gallium is the fact that when it comes in contact with any aluminum surface,
01:51it will melt the aluminum.
01:53We can put the gallium on top.
01:55Why don't you spread it around?
01:56Safety touch.
01:57We'll need some time for the melting process to happen.
02:00So we'll check back on both aluminum can experiments later in the video.
02:04This next experiment needs to be done in the car.
02:07We'll just start with some Elmer's glue.
02:09You're pouring glue in the car?
02:11Halfway, are you sure you're gonna be able to get that out?
02:13You gotta trust science.
02:14Pour this into the cup.
02:15Shake it up.
02:17Let's hope this works.
02:18What if it goes into the engine?
02:21Into the engine?
02:22All right.
02:25We have our beautiful slime.
02:27Now this should clean our car.
02:30Clean the cup holder.
02:33Clean up some dust here.
02:35Clean up some dust.
02:36Now let's clean the steering wheel.
02:39Look at that.
02:40It's sucking everything up.
02:41That's so gross.
02:43Now we have a brand new car completely cleaned with glue.
02:46This next experiment is a carbon sugar snake.
02:49This is our snake right here.
02:50It's just a mix of baking soda and sugar.
02:53What I need you to do is pour the rubbing alcohol.
02:56We want to pour this very concentrated.
03:00Ready?
03:01One, two, three.
03:02Carbon sugar snake come alive.
03:06So the sugar and the baking soda is now reacting with the fire.
03:10As the mixture burns, the carbon dioxide gas is getting trapped inside,
03:15which is making the sugar come alive.
03:18What are you gonna name your monster, Hafu?
03:20Big Willy.
03:22I'm sorry, my man.
03:25Cool thing about this, you can actually touch it after.
03:27It feels like a croissant.
03:29Yeah.
03:30You can like peel it open, spread it open.
03:32We basically made bread.
03:34All right, on to the next experiment.
03:36This next experiment only involves a simple egg.
03:38This is what happens when you drop an egg normally.
03:42It breaks, as expected.
03:43But when you put an egg and soak it in vinegar for two days, this is what happens.
03:49Our egg is now see-through.
03:51And what happened here is the acid in the vinegar has actually broken down the hard parts of the eggshell,
03:57which became these bubbles.
03:59This is a before, and this is an after.
04:01Now, what's left in the pack is a membrane inside, so the egg is actually bouncing.
04:08Look at this.
04:09That's so cool.
04:10Let's make a bet.
04:11Loser has to eat this.
04:13Make a bet on how high you think this egg can bounce without breaking.
04:17I'm going to say here.
04:20You're going to say higher than me?
04:21Okay, then I'm going to say here.
04:22Okay, ready?
04:24We'll go here first.
04:29You're eating the egg.
04:30I'm closer.
04:31Oh, that's disgusting.
04:33That is actually disgusting.
04:34You're eating the egg.
04:42Honestly, it just tastes like a pretty cool science experiment.
04:46Very easy to do.
04:47Next.
04:48This is a normal lighter, but we're going to turn it into a magic lighter.
04:52All right.
04:53What does that mean?
04:54We need the lights off.
04:56So what I'm going to need you to do is just blow.
04:59Harder.
05:00Blow harder.
05:04Did you see that?
05:08Yeah, that was really cool.
05:10So when the flame blows out, there's actually leftover wax in the smoke.
05:14That's why when you add heat, it will relight on fire.
05:17This next experiment is called fire suction.
05:20So I'm going to need your help later.
05:21First, we're just going to light this candle.
05:23Pour a little bit of water around it.
05:26I said a little bit.
05:27Place this on top.
05:28Place a glass over it, which is going to create a suction once the fire dies out.
05:32And while we wait for the fire to die out, I'm going to solve this Rubik's Cube
05:36so we can test the strength of this suction.
05:42Ooh.
05:42Yeah, it's working.
05:43What's up?
05:44Nice.
05:44Place a Rubik's Cube on top.
05:45Yeah.
05:46Okay.
05:47One, two, three.
05:49Last one.
05:50All right.
05:51All right.
05:52There we go.
05:52Four.
05:53What else can we place on top?
05:54Can we place this axe can on top?
05:56Can we place this goggle on top?
05:58Can we place...
05:59Oh, okay.
06:01Now we can weigh out everything on top and that's a total of 1161 grams.
06:08The power of this tiny little candle.
06:10Next experiment.
06:11This next experiment is called water suction.
06:14Should I be concerned?
06:15Just a little.
06:16You're going to put some food coloring in this water just so it's visible.
06:20Swirl it around.
06:22And now we're going to make me 10 times more attractive.
06:25This is Axe Body Spray.
06:26Every high school man's dream.
06:28Spray me.
06:28How does it smell?
06:31No.
06:32On the can of Axe Body Spray, it has a fire emoji.
06:38Whoa.
06:38That's cool.
06:39It's kind of like a flame thrower.
06:41But that's not our trick.
06:42Our trick is we're going to use this inside of the bottle.
06:46Just a little bit.
06:47All this water will instantly go into the bottle once I light this.
06:50Whoa.
06:53And that's water suction.
06:59Is fire suction cooler or water suction?
07:02Water suction.
07:03When we're sucking, it needs to be a little wet for it to be fun, right?
07:07Yeah, especially when it's red.
07:09Next experiment.
07:11So now we're going to make a dry ice bubble maker, all right?
07:14When we put dry ice in water, it starts a reaction.
07:18Look at that.
07:19That looks pretty cool.
07:20We're going to now screw on the cast and then stick the tube in.
07:25Not too far though, just a little bit.
07:27And we'll just tape it.
07:30Look at that.
07:31Dry ice bubble.
07:36It's bouncing.
07:37We're dipping the tube into a dish soap solution.
07:40The dry ice smoke gets trapped in the dish soap, which starts to form a bubble.
07:44And our goal is to make the biggest bubble we can.
07:47Look how big this is.
07:48Look how big this is.
07:52Next, we have a chemistry experiment.
07:54I'm going to show you how to make elephant toothpaste with just grocery store ingredients.
07:59All you need is some yeast, hydrogen peroxide, which is for wounds,
08:02an empty bottle, dish soap, and food coloring of your choice.
08:06So first, we just pour the hydrogen peroxide in here.
08:09Talking about chemistry, coffee season is actually coming up.
08:12So if you're still single, now is the time to form a bond.
08:15No more crying yourself to sleep at night or binging shows alone.
08:19Our sponsor, Coffee Meets Bagel, is here to help.
08:22Let's add a little bit of dish soap.
08:26And I'm going to add a dash of red food coloring to signify love.
08:30So Coffee Meets Bagel is the last dating app you'll ever need.
08:33It's made for those only looking for serious relationships.
08:37If you download the app and you say you're looking for something casual,
08:41they'll actually redirect you to competitor dating apps.
08:45I'm a very career-focused person, and I'm sure a lot of you are just like me.
08:49So swiping through profiles might seem like a waste of time for you.
08:53That's why I love Coffee Meets Bagel's matching feature.
08:56Instead of endlessly swiping, you get suggested new matches based on your dating preferences.
09:02For example, you can say you like girls who work out and don't party.
09:05Also, they have an icebreaker feature, which makes it a little less awkward for you to slide in.
09:10No more hay, double y.
09:12Now let's continue.
09:14We have our yeast.
09:15Let's add it to some warm water.
09:17The yeast would be the catalyst that will start this chemical reaction.
09:20One of my friends from university actually found his girlfriend using Coffee Meets Bagel.
09:24And from talking to all my friends that use the app,
09:27they vouch that the people on Coffee Meets Bagel are a lot more wholesome than the other apps.
09:32Now, this is the last step to our experiment.
09:34We add the catalyst into the solution that we made.
09:37If you're single and looking for a serious relationship,
09:40download Coffee Meets Bagel for free using the link in the description.
09:43And get ready to start a chemical reaction of love.
09:59Hopefully, you don't explode this fast on your first date.
10:02All right, it's been over an hour.
10:03Let's check back on our aluminum can experiments.
10:06Got the drain cleaner one right here.
10:08Let's pull this one first.
10:10Oh, look at that.
10:15It's smoking.
10:16So the drain cleaner has melted away all the aluminum.
10:19And the only thing that's left is a plastic wrap inside.
10:23It's a sponging can.
10:24That's so cool.
10:29This is a gallium can.
10:30We left it there for a couple hours.
10:32I noticed some interesting textures.
10:33Let's see what happens.
10:34So as you can see, this can has become destroyed.
10:37Let's just give it a little squish test.
10:39Wow.
10:41Let's try poking through with our fingers.
10:46Oh, oh my God.
10:48We can basically crumple this can.
10:51It's like an aluminum croissant.
10:53Next, we have two tiny air guns.
10:55So how this works, it's literally just a cup and a balloon attached to the back.
10:59And do you feel that?
11:00Yeah.
11:01To see if it actually is working, let's light it on fire.
11:04Why does every experiment involve fire here?
11:07Because fire is cool.
11:09Try blowing this up.
11:11There we go.
11:12That's pretty cool, right?
11:13Yeah.
11:14Now let's step it up a little bit.
11:16That's huge.
11:17What are we blowing with that?
11:18Your mom.
11:19So what we can do is actually we can just burn a little paper and it will become a smoke cannon.
11:24You can just put the paper inside.
11:27Our smoke cannon is now loaded with smoke.
11:29We can aim and fire it.
11:31So we got bottles set up over there.
11:32Here's a challenge.
11:33Whoever knocks down the most number of bottles wins.
11:36And the loser has to drink lemon juice.
11:39Okay.
11:39We get three shots each, okay?
11:41Okay, I'll go first.
11:44Oh, you see that?
11:45Need to aim it a little lower.
11:48Okay.
11:49Two down.
11:54Let's see if you can beat that.
11:55You know, there we go.
12:00Oh my gosh.
12:01Come on.
12:02Got one last shot.
12:02Oh my goodness.
12:04We did it.
12:06Shoot me, shoot me.
12:11Loser has to drink lemonade.
12:13This is lemon juice.
12:14It's not lemonade.
12:20This is so sour.
12:22Holy crap.
12:23So this is the world's most powerful laser pointer.
12:27We need a different type of eye protection for this one.
12:30We need sunglasses.
12:32Mine are actually red because it cancels out the blue light from the laser.
12:35Let's test it on a balloon.
12:37How many balloons do you think this laser will burn through?
12:46Three?
12:46Three?
12:47I think it will burn through all these balloons.
12:49So I've even set up a match at the end to see if I can light that on fire.
12:53Okay.
12:54Ready?
12:54Yeah.
12:55Let's see it.
12:58That was fast.
12:59Three.
13:00Four.
13:01Oh, it kept going.
13:02Five.
13:02Oh my god.
13:03Six.
13:05Seven.
13:06Let me go a little closer.
13:12This laser is cool.
13:14And it was only like 70 bucks.
13:15Only?
13:16This next experiment only requires hand sanitizer.
13:19I'm sure you have some left over, but don't try this at home.
13:21Extremely dangerous.
13:22It's called fire hand.
13:24And in order for you to see this, we need to turn the lights off.
13:27All right, that's better.
13:28First, we're going to squeeze the hand sani onto our surface here.
13:33Spread it around.
13:35And then wet our hands so we don't burn ourselves.
13:38And then, last step, a little bit more of hand sanitizer on our hands.
13:42Let's watch the magic happen.
13:56Onto the next experiment.
13:57All right, now it's time for the final experiment.
14:00We're going to use everything we've learned and combine it into a butane rocket.
14:04What does that even mean?
14:05A butane rocket.
14:07So butane, when it's combined with coke, it will react at such a fast pace
14:12that it becomes rocket fuel.
14:14As my assistant, I need you to hold this.
14:15Yep.
14:16Wait, let me think about this.
14:17I don't want to blow you up.
14:20So what I'm doing is I'm just letting the butane now into the coke bottle.
14:24We now have butane in this container.
14:27It is kind of smoking outside, as you can see.
14:29Can you see that?
14:30We're going to see how this goes.
14:31One, two, three.
14:34Okay, we didn't have enough butane in there.
14:36Okay, so what we're going to do instead, we're first going to fill up this coke bottle with
14:40only butane, and then we're going to pour it into this coke bottle.
14:43On top, we've got a butane layer, and then on the bottom, we've got a coke layer.
14:46Once I flip this over, that's when the reaction will start.
14:50Butane rocket.
14:51One, two, three.
14:52Ah!
14:57Ah!
14:59Whoa!
15:02Now we've got to do a bigger version of that.
15:04That was amazing.
15:04And on fire.
15:05On fire?
15:06We only have one shot for this.
15:07We used three cans of butane, and this is a big coke bottle.
15:11And guys, again, do not try this at home.
15:13Now the butane is going inside the coke bottle.
15:15I need you to step back.
15:17I'm going to light this on fire.
15:18Are you ready?
15:21Oh my god!
15:23This is flaming butane rocket.
15:25One, three, two, one.
15:26Ah!
15:28Ah!
15:32Ah!
15:36Oh my god!
15:39Where did it go?
15:40How do you feel?
15:41That was scary.
15:42The science rocks!
15:43Guys, let's keep this going.
15:44If you want to watch $1 versus $100,000 yo-yo, click here to watch that video,
15:49and click here to watch a video that YouTube thinks you'll love.
