00:10Once upon a time, there was an old woman who lived in a small cottage.

00:40Then, she put him in the oven and waited.
00:46When the gingerbread man was ready, she opened the oven door,
00:51but to her surprise, he jumped up and ran away.

00:59You can't catch me! I'm the Gingerbread Man!
01:04The old woman gasped in surprise and rushed after him.
01:09Come back here, little Gingerbread Man!
01:13But he was already too fast.
01:16The gingerbread man ran past a cow, who smelled the sweet scent of him.
01:24Yummy! You smell delicious! I want a bite!
01:29Run! Run! As fast as you can!
01:35You can't catch me! I'm the Gingerbread Man!
01:38The cow tried to catch him, but he was already too far ahead.
01:47And soon, he ran past a horse.
01:52Wait for me! You look so tasty!
01:57Run! Run! As fast as you can!
02:01You can't catch me!
02:02You can't catch me! I'm the Gingerbread Man!
02:07The horse couldn't catch him either, and Gingerbread Man kept running.
02:13He passed a whole group of animals, but no one could catch the speedy Gingerbread Man.
02:20He kept running, faster and faster, until he reached a river.
02:28There was a clever fox sitting by the bank.
02:32Well, well, little Gingerbread Man!
02:37You've been running all day. Let me help you cross the river!
02:42How do I know I can trust you?
02:45Trust me! I'm your friend! You're tired, and I can help you!
02:51Just climb on my back, and I'll take you across safely!
02:59The Gingerbread Man, still a little unsure, decided to trust the fox.
03:05He hopped onto the fox's back, and they began to cross the river.
03:10As they got deeper into the water, the fox spoke again with a sly glint in his eyes.
03:20You've run far, little Gingerbread Man, but I can catch you now!
03:27Before the Gingerbread Man could react, the fox leapt up and snapped.
03:32The fox ate the Gingerbread Man in one quick bite.
03:39And so, the Gingerbread Man was finally caught.
03:43But his speedy adventure would always be remembered by all who saw him run away so fast.
03:50And always remember, cleverness without caution can lead to trouble.
03:59True wisdom lies in knowing when to stop and think before you leap.
