Gauff looking to take advantage of Swiatek struggles at Roland Garros

Coco Gauff is asked whether this year's French Open will be open due to Iga Swiatek's recent drop in form

00:00With the EA struggle this year, do you feel like this tournament is more open than ever?

00:05I mean, I feel like it's always open.

00:09I mean, yeah, she's a great player, and regardless of her results,

00:14she's won this tournament a lot, so she could definitely do it again.

00:18But just in the past, every year, it's a new chance for somebody to take home the trophy.

00:24But yeah, I think she has a great shot. I feel like I have a great shot.

00:28A lot of other players, too, that have great shots.

00:30I think I lost in the semis last year, and they obviously made a final,

00:33so obviously I can prove that I can make it to the late stages here in the tournament.

00:38And I think just to get over that final hump is just hopefully if I get to the final showing up

00:43and that day and playing some great tennis.
