00:00How difficult is the Premier League?
00:04I want to show how difficult it is in the Premier League.
00:07There are so many teams involved.
00:09The one that they have been consistent has been Liverpool,
00:13and this is the reason why they won the Premier League.
00:16I think all the rest we had during the season
00:18had a little bit of an up-and-down moment,
00:20and this is the reason why we are there.
00:22But we are happy to be there and try to finish in the best way.
00:27If we win, we do our job.
00:30We don't need to pay attention to the other results.
00:33For sure, if we are not winning, probably we need to pay attention.
00:37But we have the privilege that depends on us.
00:43Proud, special.
00:45But I think proud sums up the most.
00:50Because after working here for a year now,
00:54I know even better how hard it is.
00:56That's why I just said it's the hardest trophy to win.
00:59This should be a day that everybody is going to enjoy.
01:02It's been 35 years, everybody is waiting for this moment.
01:06Or everybody, but Liverpool fans are waiting for this moment.
01:09And I think we've set the example against Tottenham.
01:13I don't think I've ever been part of, I've ever seen a celebration in a nicer way done.
01:21I need a few more things to then have a real clarity and analysis and describe the season with the right words.
01:30Because I know that that's going to be very, very important.
01:33We all feel the same way, that we feel that we are capable.
01:36It's not just a dream or it's not just something you want to do it.
01:39It's that we have everything that is needed to do that.
01:42And even if you do, there is a lot of things that are going to play a part to win.
01:46A lot of things.
01:47Performance, it's going to be the squad quality.
01:49Availability is going to be referees, the schedule.
01:53Who do you play?
01:54When?
01:55In what kind of form they are?
01:56How many days do you have to recover?
01:58And then, the randomness of football.
02:00That one, I cannot control.
02:03We have to look at ourselves.
02:05Look at ourselves.
02:06We need one point to go to the Champions League next season.
02:10And we have to go to win against a top side.
02:13Of course, it's really, really important.
02:15First, because it's an exceptional team.
02:18So, when I saw it yesterday, I said, wow, it will be a real tough game.
02:22You have a good build-up, well organized.
02:26So, they have everything.
02:27Everything a team has done.
02:28It could not be differently when the season, the best season they have done.
02:34In the last games, it depends on you.
02:38Of course, in Fulham as well.
02:40But it depends on us.
02:41Yeah, it's better.
02:42It's tough for a club like ours not to be in the Champions League.
02:45But we have to use the other side.
02:47So, if we have more time, we have more time to think, to work during the week.
02:51And to be better in Premier League, that will be our focus.
02:55I'm always open.
02:56If the board and the fans feel that I'm not the right guy, I will go in the next day without any conversation about compensation.
03:03But I will not quit again.
03:05Again, I'm really confident on my job.
03:08And as you can see, I will not change nothing in the way I do things.
03:12I don't know if we could have got much better than where we are when we first came in.
03:17Crystal Palace, they have been in a really good second half of the season.
03:20And obviously, they have gone and won the Cup as well.
03:22So, they were about the only team who were sort of in there that we could have even thought about catching at the time.
03:27But I have to say, I'm really, really pleased for us to get the point.
03:31So, we've finished up with an awful lot of big sides, good sides.
03:35And the players have done a brilliant job, they really have.
03:38We now need to pick that up again, start the next season and hopefully take it into the new stadium, but also into the new season.
