00:00Hello and welcome to SmartMoto UK. Today we have our very special guest, it's our client Ms. Namita Shetty.
00:19We hold a relationship with her for almost three years now. We go back really in time.
00:25And we just wanted to share her experience today with our viewers who are looking to apply particularly for student visas, student dependent visas and we learn more from her about her particular journey in the UK and her experience with SmartMoto UK.
00:43So hello Namita, thank you so very much for being on our channel here and spending time to speak about your journey with our viewers.
00:54So Namita, I believe you reached out to us three years back at SmartMoto UK and at that time you were looking out for help as a student and as a dependent.
01:04So was there a particular reason? What kind of do you think was a hurdle in which you needed help to do your application?
01:15So I was, I came with you in the 2020 and I was not sure how the process or the application process are.
01:25I heard about your organization and some good reviews. So I just had a drive and I come across with Joyce and Hemel and they made me very confident that they can easily get my process done and get my application done.
01:45Because, um, because, um, I was, um, I had to, um, I had to take my child, uh, single, uh, single, uh, my husband being preoccupied, uh, uh, in the, uh, in the journey of my studies in the UK.
01:57So I took the help, I was not knowing any documents, what sort of documents it is, because I and my husband were staying subtly and, uh, I didn't knew, like, what could be the next step from here.
02:09My, my, my willingness was to study, go to pursue higher studies and settle over, uh, UK.
02:15However, uh, the journey was not very easy and I took your help and the process went quite easy.
02:22Uh, and it was a little good experience and I got the visa.
02:26And, and then simultaneously after my graduation in the year 2022, um, I could able to, uh, successfully come, uh, complete my graduation at the same time.
02:38I opted for post-study work visa.
02:41And then, uh, the post-study work visa was, uh, also one of the challenge things.
02:46But then, uh, because I, uh, I studied over there, I had to give only two documents.
02:52So I didn't, uh, have that, that much problem.
02:55But then I got the graduate visa.
02:57I continued to work there.
02:59Uh, so I worked with HSBC bank.
03:02Then I worked for British business bank.
03:04So all big multinational companies, known companies I worked for.
03:09But the thing has certainly changed, um, in the same time.
03:14Where in, you know, government has bought a policy of, uh, getting a threshold.
03:19Um, only if I fit with the threshold, then, you know, the company can sponsor.
03:25And it is where the challenge, um, because I didn't have that much experience.
03:29And, uh, it is where, you know, to meet that threshold was not really easy.
03:34Um, but, uh, so then during that time period, and the challenging part is that I had to undergo
03:41divorce with my husband.
03:43Because, uh, once I had divorce, I come to November.
03:47Uh, and then, um, after that, you know, um, when I was doing my research, I saw, found that if you're divorced,
03:54then you need to have a child custody to continue to stay in UK.
03:59Now the question was very difficult.
04:01The thing was very difficult because I need my child to stay, perhaps, to me.
04:05And that is where, you know, I didn't know where to go.
04:08Then I remember, uh, your, because you knew the cases, your organization knew my case.
04:14This is where I come back to Hemang.
04:17Because Hemang was the first one, um, to coordinate.
04:21So I, I got him, got in touch with Hemang in LinkedIn.
04:25Uh, and then, you know, I was, uh, coordinating with him.
04:30And through that, I, I come across, uh, in India, like,
04:34from my leadership to coordinate how to get the process done.
04:39In this process, uh, um, thank you for giving me the option for the business visa and all those stuff.
04:46Because the time was really limited.
04:48We, I had only one, two months time, uh, which, you know, I need to continue.
04:53I didn't want my child's education to be affected.
04:57So I, I applied simultaneously for PhD, um, with, uh, three or four universities.
05:03Because I knew that, um, uh, to get, to apply, you need to put only, uh, like, four or five universities in hand.
05:12To, uh, because there's, there's things like, you know, the, some of the university, uh, has got already candidated.
05:20And we don't have place there.
05:21So, uh, I, I don't want to take the list.
05:23So I, I, I don't want to take the list.
05:24So I put four applications, four university, three university applications, uh, which is nearby location.
05:30Uh, so I have put an application.
05:32And then I presented my research proposal.
05:35It was not very easy because, uh, the professors were expecting more.
05:39They want to see the scale because they, uh, somewhere they find like, you know, students come, they come with different, with people right for them or something.
05:49So they want to, yeah, they want to test.
05:52So they given me one more topic to work for and they given me only one or two weeks time period to present their research proposal, which I did.
06:01And the journey took turn around.
06:04Um, uh, there was an interview after a month.
06:07I've given an interview.
06:09The interview was like, uh, they talked about more about my research and, you know, four or five professors were there.
06:16And then, uh, since after interview ended up within one week, I got a call that my interview succeeded.
06:24And they are happy to praise me for the PhD.
06:27At the same time, uh, to my surprise, they provided me the full scholarship.
06:32I think that was a game changer, isn't it?
06:35Yeah.
06:36Didn't expect that it happened.
06:37But at the same time, uh, my application for business was great.
06:41But I, as I know, like, you know, the things were time limited and, um, don't want to take, uh, that time.
06:49This, uh, because my child's education was really such important.
06:53I don't want to impact this education.
06:56So I went now this student.
06:58But my challenge part was, um, how to get the student visa because now my status, my status has been changed.
07:07Um, now I become single.
07:09Um, the OC.
07:11Now, uh, my child, uh, custody also, like, under process.
07:16So I was not knowing much.
07:18So I come to your organization needed pretty much help with, like, what to do.
07:25Like, should I mention you or what should I do?
07:28Because child custody was not in my hand.
07:31And this is where, you know, with your guidance and support, I could able to, uh, get through the application.
07:38However, the journey was not very easy because, uh, my, uh, we have applied, um, like, it's one month before my course start.
07:48Um, and, uh, as, as, as for the, uh, we, I went, we went for, as for your solution, we went for the IT services.
07:55But the, but the, uh, these are office people's, uh, change to standard process.
08:01I was, uh, very much, uh, sad because, uh, I don't know, like, uh, will I able to, uh, join on time or not.
08:09However, with the, uh, God's grace, with your support and with, uh, process that you made and the statement,
08:16or whatever the process, whatever, I don't know what documents you have provided.
08:20But whatever it is, like, you know, um, you made my journey very easy.
08:25And I got my, uh, visa in hand, like, before, uh, 15 days.
08:31It is quite good, like, you know, it's very unexpected.
08:35One, because my case was not very simple.
08:37It's very complicated one.
08:39And it is very, you know, I, I highly recommend people like me who wants, uh, um, who wants to go
08:47and who wants to start their journey.
08:49Like in my case, single parent who is literally stuck up, uh, what to do next.
08:54I would recommend, like, you know, to, uh, approach you people and, uh, take their salvation
09:01because that really makes a difference.
09:04Thank you so very much, Namita.
09:06And we wish you all the very best for all your individuals in the UK.
09:10And, uh, thank you so very much for giving us this opportunity to represent you once again.
09:15And I'm sure it will work out for you in your favor.
09:18Yeah.
09:19Yeah.
09:20And, uh, yeah, I will keep you in touch soon.
09:21And, uh, definitely, um, I would look forward to, as in, where I go, um, like, to stay longer there.
09:39Absolutely.
09:40It would be a pleasure to be part of your journey.
