00:00Around 9 p.m., we heard gunshots coming from outside, and we didn't really understand what's going on.
00:08And then a man came in, and he looked very scared, and we thought that he was just in the street and heard these gunshots and maybe came into the building because he wanted to be somewhere safe and not in the streets.
00:22So people are helping him, and they're talking to him.
00:26Are you okay?
00:27And all of this.
00:28Then I'm talking to him, and I'm like, so do you like the museum?
00:33Just kind of trying to relax him.
00:35And he's like, oh, what kind of museum is this?
00:40So I told him, it's a Jewish museum.
00:43And he asked me, do you think that that's why they did it?
00:46Like, referencing the gunshots that we had heard.
00:50And it took me a second.
00:52And I'm like, no, I don't think that's why.
00:55I'm sure it's unrelated.
00:58But he didn't even have the Palestinian keffiyeh.
01:00He had the Jordanian keffiyeh.
01:02So I think he's a really confused person.
01:04So he pulls out his keffiyeh, and he says, I did it.
01:09I did it for Gaza.
01:10Free, free Palestine.
01:12And he's chanting this.
01:13And then suddenly the police come in, and they arrest him.
01:18So they were moving everyone over into a corner to try to, like, be away from the windows and the doors and just try to keep us safe.
01:29But there was a lot of chaos going on because there were so many police officers and, like, SWAT team kind of looking people with, like, big guns.
01:38And so it was, it just felt really surreal.
01:43So anytime there's a Jewish or Israel-related event, there's always security.
01:49Even when we go to, just to the synagogue, anytime we go to a synagogue where our bags are searched, they wand us, we're always trying to take security precautions.
02:01But this, the shooting occurred outside of the event when the shooter was waiting for these people to be exiting so he could get them.
02:14So we were meeting at the Capitol Jewish Museum to listen to a panel that was discussing how these different organizations from around the world and different faiths are working together to bring humanitarian aid into Gaza.
02:36So people that are Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Israelis, whatever, they're all working together for this goal of helping innocent Palestinians.
03:06So people that are friends and brothers and sisters, they're all working together for us, and they're all working together for the people that are very可愛い.
03:20So you can have a journey with a walk and a walk with a walk for the safety of the people that are at the beach, and you can also get to the airport for the country.
