Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Karni Mata Temple in Bikaner, Rajasthan, on May 22, 2025. Known as the ‘Rat Temple’, it is home to around 25,000 sacred rats, locally called Kaba.

00:25It is said that Karni Mata lived for 151 years.
00:28After her death, devotees installed an idol of her at the site, which has since become a place of worship.
00:33According to locals, the rats at the temple emerge from their burrows during daily rituals.
00:38Devotees walk with care, dragging their feet to avoid accidentally stepping on the revered Kaaba.
00:42On May 22, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the temple and offered prayers.
