La pression internationale augmente sur Israël. L'Union européenne va lancer un réexamen de son accord d'association avec l'Etat hébreu à la lumière des derniers événements à Gaza, a annoncé mardi 20 mai la cheffe de la diplomatie européenne, Kaja Kallas. Parallèlement, le ministre britannique des Affaires étrangères David Lammy a annoncé que le Royaume-Uni suspendait ses négociations pour un accord de libre-échange avec Israël. 00:04Therefore, today, I'm announcing that we have suspended negotiations with this Israeli government

00:09on a new trade, free trade agreement.

00:18It is clear from today's discussion that there is a strong majority

00:23in favor of review of Article 2 of our association agreement with Israel.

00:28So we will launch this exercise and in the meantime, it is up to Israel to unblock the humanitarian aid.

00:58We cannot stand by in the face of this new deterioration.

01:09It is incompatible with the principles that underpin our bilateral relationship,

01:15rejected by members across this House, and frankly, it's an affront to the values of the British people.

01:22Therefore, today, I'm announcing that we have suspended negotiations with this Israeli government

01:30on a new trade, free trade agreement.

01:32We will be reviewing cooperation with them under the 2030 bilateral roadmap.

01:42The Netanyahu's government's actions have made this necessary, Madam Deputy Speaker.

01:53is summoning the Israeli ambassadors of the Foreign Office to convey this message.
