00:00The UN says that aid has not reached Palestinians yet, despite it beginning to enter Gaza two days ago.
00:07They say the delays have been due to the new Israeli security process to get aid cleared to distribution warehouses,
00:14which they've described as long, complex, complicated and dangerous.
00:18Just to make it clear, while more supplies have come in to the Gaza Strip, we have not been able to secure the arrival of those supplies into our warehouses and delivery points.
00:34In the end, about four trucks, not five, were allowed in yesterday.
00:41Today, we have a few dozen.
00:43I'm trying to get a more exact number, but that's where we are.
00:49But the point is, the logistical, the security complications and just the overall environment make this extremely, extremely difficult.
00:59The aid coming in is the first in almost three months to trickle into the enclave.
01:04Gaza has been under a complete blockade since March, preventing food, basic items, medical supplies and other critical aid from reaching residents.
01:13Because of the blockade, there's so little stuff getting in.
01:18There's no food getting in, so people are starving.
01:21There's very little medical supplies coming in.
01:25But also, the other very noticeable thing is the massive extent of destruction.
01:32I mean, Khan Yunus looks like Stalingrad.
01:34The UN Humanitarian Agency has received approval for 108 trucks under the new Israeli scheme,
01:41a sharp drop-off from the 600 trucks entering Gaza daily during the latest ceasefire.
01:46Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he will only allow, quote,
01:50minimal aid to enter Gaza to preserve U.S. and ally support, who criticized the images of starvation coming out of the Strip.
