00:44What's the favorite part of my job?

00:45Well besides flying the best aircraft in the entire U.S. fleet

00:49The favorite part of my job is the people I work with

00:51We make each other better every day

00:52And when you get to fly an aircraft like this with your best friends

00:56And that's just something special

01:03What are the capabilities of the P-8?

01:05Well we're really a jack of all trades

01:07We conduct anti-surface warfare, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, search and rescue

01:12But our primary tasking

01:14It's anti-submarine warfare

01:23We localize, track and hold adversary submarines at risk at all times

01:27What does daily life look like for me?

01:37Well I get up, hit the galley with all my friends

01:40I come into work

01:42I get to do my primary job of being a naval officer

01:44And then I get to do my secondary job of being a naval aviator

01:47Taking this plane out for up to 8 to 10 hours at a time

01:50To come back and land

01:52We all enjoy each other's company grilling out the lava lounge

01:56And then right before bed I get to call my beautiful wife and family
