00:00Often, to change smartphones, I test all the technology.
00:03PC screens, televisions, sound bars, headphones.
00:08And yes, Diffamtech doesn't just sell smartphones, it also sells gaming.
00:12And of course, tablets.
00:14On the tablets, we still test them on all ranges, between mid-range and high-end.
00:19At Samsung, we tested the Galaxy Tab S10, which is the top of the range.
00:24Today we're going to test the mid-range Galaxy Tab S10 FE.
00:28Later there will be FE+.
00:30Today is FE, let's go.
00:59Here it is, here it is.
01:01So small, so beautiful.
01:0210 inches, 1.
01:04A sensor on the back, with a microphone just below.
01:07Weighing 497 grams, it is made of aluminum.
01:10Yeah, so we're still dealing with quality materials.
01:13We will find it, if we hold it horizontally, with the front camera facing us.
01:17A speaker on the left side.
01:18You will notice a microphone, a micro SD SIM card drawer to expand the memory.
01:24Yeah, Samsung thought of that.
01:26On the right side, there is a second speaker and a USB type C.
01:31On the top, of course, there is a power-off button in the image which acts as a fingerprint reader.
01:35Volume button.
01:36And we still find two microphones.
01:38So you're going to tell me what all this is for.
01:40First, I'll tell you about the bottom, where the connectors are if you buy the keyboard.
01:43Well, all these microphones are useful if you're doing a video call, a Teams call, a Skype call.
01:49This will help you get the best sound possible.
01:52And that, frankly, is great.
01:53Because at least that way you'll have good quality on the other side.
01:57Condition, once again, that the person has something of quality.
02:01But in any case, it had to be reported.
02:02In short, we are dealing with quality materials.
02:05On a design that we know.
02:07On the design of the Galaxy Tab S10.
02:09No more, no less.
02:10The difference will obviously be in the specs.
02:13We'll see about that later.
02:15But we have impeccable Samsung finishing qualities.
02:17So, it's mid-range.
02:19We'll say high-end.
02:20For everything related to materials and finishing.
02:23Let's take a quick look at the general overview.
02:24And he starts this general round very strongly with IP68.
02:27She might fall into a puddle.
02:29Or even a water jump.
02:29Or even deeper.
02:30Up to 1.50m for 30 minutes.
02:33So.
02:33That's already nice.
02:34For the screen, I don't have the protection index.
02:37Unfortunately.
02:37In any case, if I find it, I will put it in the description.
02:39It is 5G compatible.
02:41Yes, you will be able to insert a nano SIM card.
02:43And you will also be able to add a micro SD to expand the memory.
02:47That's nice.
02:48You'll get Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 LE.
02:52We'll talk about speakers at the end.
02:53First, 5G.
02:55Well, it picks up really well.
02:56It picks up just as well as an S25 Ultra like this.
03:00So, in terms of 5G reception, no problem.
03:03At the communications level.
03:04Yes, I tried communications.
03:06Well, it was exactly the same thing.
03:08The surrounding noise was fairly well attenuated.
03:09It's a tablet.
03:10I would like to clarify this, however.
03:12I held the tablet like this to make my call.
03:15I've been told that the noise is pretty well muffled.
03:16Even if we can still hear them a little.
03:19It's not as good as a phone.
03:20But in any case, the work was there behind it.
03:22You also have 5G download rates.
03:25And sending rates that are identical to those on an S25 Ultra.
03:29So we're onto something very good.
03:31At the Wi-Fi 6E level.
03:32Well, he was taking exactly the maximum amount of malignant fibers at home.
03:36With a Wi-Fi 6E model.
03:37The one behind me.
03:39It was taking upload.
03:40So, that is to say, sending the maximum.
03:43And download the maximum.
03:45So what more could you ask for?
03:46I don't know.
03:47Anyway, if we continue with Bluetooth 5.3 LE.
03:50I didn't connect it to a car.
03:52Sorry.
03:53I preferred to connect them to headphones.
03:55And I thought, we're not going to make it easy for this tablet.
03:57I connected them to headphones from other brands.
04:00From Sony, Xiaomi, etc.
04:01Well, I had excellent range.
04:04And I had no crackling, clipping, or metallic sound.
04:07In short, Bluetooth did its job very well.
04:10With a range of about 10-11 meters.
04:12That's very good.
04:13Now, if we continue on the speakers as well.
04:15Well, there are two of them.
04:17It's true that it's a change compared to the higher range.
04:20The normal S10s.
04:21Where there you have 4.
04:22But they still do their job well.
04:24And I want to point out that they are exceptionally well positioned.
04:28For what ?
04:28Because when you watch a video camera on top.
04:31With the volume buttons on the top.
04:32We hold it like this.
04:34Well, you're going to have the speakers that are nicely placed on the top.
04:38And so, suddenly, your hand will not come to hide them.
04:40And we will have a very good sound.
04:42We are fully immersed in his films, his series, his video games.
04:45That was a point that needed to be made.
04:47In terms of sound quality.
04:48It's more or less identical to an S10.
04:51With obviously a little less power.
04:53It's immediately noticeable.
04:54The fact that two speakers are missing.
04:56We still have mids and highs.
04:58And a bass that is still slightly present.
05:00Although it's not as warm a sound as an S10 Ultra, of course.
05:05We are on Android 15 with the One UI 7 overlay.
05:097 years of updates.
05:10So, this is a tablet that you will be able to use for quite a while.
05:13Obviously, depending on how you take care of it.
05:16That too.
05:17What did I think?
05:18In fact, everything that is in One UI 7 of S25 Ultra, you have it in this S10 FE tablet.
05:24Quite simply.
05:25You will have artificial intelligence that will help you manage your autonomy.
05:28Artificial intelligence that will help you with your word processing.
05:32Who will help you when you are going to manage your things.
05:35Just if you have a schedule, things like that.
05:38But also photo editing.
05:39Because this tablet accepts the Samsung stylus.
05:42And honestly, it does the job very well.
05:45Working on it, frankly, there are no problems.
05:48So, we have an Android 15 that is set for a few years of updates.
05:51With the latest version of One UI 7.
05:53Be careful, however, that One UI 7 tends to be a little energy-hungry.
05:58So, you will have to make some small adjustments like on your smartphone.
06:01But hey, it's a tablet.
06:02We have a bigger battery.
06:03I put everything to the test to see the autonomy that we will talk about a little later.
06:06A 10.1-inch LCD panel.
06:09It's IPS with a 90Hz refresh rate.
06:13And a resolution of 1440 by 2304.
06:16Actually, this screen, I expected to see something a little worse.
06:20Yes, regarding the fact that it is IPS LCD.
06:22I thought, well, I'm a little scared.
06:24And in the end, as always, Samsung manages to do very well with its screens.
06:28We are looking at a very nice IPS screen that does the job well.
06:32Of course, it will have slightly less deep blacks than a dynamic AMOLED.
06:36The star of Samsung.
06:38But we are on a screen that responds frankly to the fingers and the eye.
06:41You won't experience the slightest glitch, stutter, or slowdown on this screen.
06:48Use the stylus on this screen too.
06:50He answers right away.
06:52You will be able to draw with this tablet.
06:54There will be no problem.
06:55Draw normally.
06:56If you want to do architecture, you'll have to aim for an S10 Ultra, of course.
07:00But in any case, here we have a very nice screen.
07:02You will be able to watch your movies and series without any problems.
07:05We are on to something very clean.
07:08YouTube immediately recommended it to me in 4K video.
07:12And so, suddenly, I looked and we had a very, very beautiful image.
07:16In short, once again, Samsung is pulling out all the stops.
07:19Whether it's IPS or AMOLED, it always produces very beautiful screens.
07:23If there's anything wrong with this screen, what is it?
07:25It's the fact that there are borders.
07:27And it's true that they are still quite present.
07:29Let me know in the comments what you think.
07:31But in any case, we really have a screen that does the job perfectly.
07:35We would have liked a slightly higher refresh rate though.
07:37So, in terms of performance, what are we going to find?
07:40An Exynos 1580.
07:42The same as in the Galaxy A56, so with the X Clips 540 GPU.
07:47As in the Galaxy A56.
07:49You will have 8 or 12GB of RAM depending on the storage you take.
07:53128 or 256GB.
07:54I would like to point out that the version I am testing is an 8GB RAM version.
07:58128GB of storage.
08:00This means that with the 12GB RAM version, you will get a little more points in Bench, Geekbench, etc.
08:07That's what it wants.
08:08If you want to make some small video games, well you will have to...
08:11Be careful, you will see that 8GB is quite enough.
08:14But 12GB of RAM will be even better.
08:16There you go, you've been warned.
08:17Anyway, what did that give me in the Bench score?
08:20I'll show it to you here.
08:21This gave me a score of 889,578 points.
08:25Yes, we are frankly at the same score, more or less, with a few details near the A56 and it is a very good score.
08:32Of course, we expected better, even if it is mid-range, we would have liked to exceed a million, a million, a million, a hundred thousand.
08:38That would have been pretty cool.
08:40Now, on to Geekbench.
08:42I always show it to you there on the side.
08:44I had a score of 1351 in single core and a score of 3896 in multi-core.
08:49What does that mean?
08:49This means that I used this tablet for work and not once did I have a problem with slowdowns.
08:54Yeah, honestly, he did his job very, very well.
08:57There was no problem with multitasking, the screen was split in two where I was working on emails on one side and on the other side I was reading another email or sometimes watching YouTube videos.
09:08Well, it did the job very well.
09:09There was no slowdown, no jerkiness.
09:12It did its job very well.
09:13Now I've got the GPU out for you.
09:16Yeah, the GPU score that I'm putting there on the side, it's a score of 6510.
09:20You might say, it's not much, and I agree with you, there's much better.
09:24But what surprised me was the games it runs.
09:26As you know, it's games that really show what a processor is capable of.
09:32First of all, on Asphalt 9, the loading times are very, very short.
09:35You will be able to play some very, very good games.
09:37And there, honestly, nothing was said.
09:38Now, regarding Genshin Impact, there is a little difference and that's why I thought I'd make two separate videos between S10, FE and FE+.
09:48There were some small differences in the video games and I think it was due to the size and therefore better cooling.
09:55Quite simply.
09:56I'm going to unlock the thing because otherwise I've lost.
09:58In Genshin Impact, I was on maximum graphics with 60 fps.
10:03The game was telling me it was dangerous, it was red and that I was going to overheat.
10:09I said to myself, OK, we'll continue anyway, we'll see.
10:13There, I was still quite surprised to have a temperature of 32 degrees after an hour of play.
10:19Which still proves that this little processor is capable of doing quite a lot of things because...
10:23So yes, there were times I had some framerate drops.
10:26If you put it in 45 fps high graphics, you will have stability which is great and you will have a game which is great.
10:32But in any case, it was good to report that he managed to withstand it for over an hour at 32 degrees.
10:37On the Fortnite side, I was also surprised.
10:40I was in 30 fps, HD graphics, so I had them maxed out.
10:45And I still had a temperature of 48 degrees.
10:48I said to myself, let's put it differently.
10:50We'll put it on low graphics, 30 fps.
10:53And there, perfect, we had 30 fps which was stable.
10:56We had a game that didn't heat up.
10:58In short, we had a Fortnite with 32 degrees.
11:00And honestly, there's plenty to play on this little tablet.
11:04I was quite surprised by the performance she put out.
11:06A bit like the Galaxy A56 for this little Exynos 1580.
11:10That's what I often say.
11:11There's no point in always bashing the Exynos because they're not that bad.
11:16And I want to prove it once again with my Galaxy S21 Ultra which is still there,
11:20which still works just as well and runs everything without any problems.
11:23And I'll even tell you something.
11:25Well, it even has a lower Bench score than this small tablet.
11:28And yet, he still runs Fortnite.
11:30Photo section.
11:31Well, it's a tablet.
11:32You know, it's not made for photography.
11:34But if you need to take pictures,
11:36from a little moment when you have your tablet in hand, it's nice.
11:39And on top of that, if you work with it, it's also nice to be able to take some good little photos.
11:43I want proof of this in the back.
11:44There is a 13 megapixel sensor, 2.0 aperture wide angle.
11:47And on the front there is a 12 megapixel sensor, 2.4 aperture ultra wide angle.
11:53Personally, I would have put the ultra wide angle on the back
11:56to have an additional photo style.
11:59Something more complete.
12:01This is a choice on Samsung's part.
12:02Okay.
12:03Anyway, the photos.
12:04Well, I mean, in terms of selfies and portrait mode,
12:07we are on something very clean.
12:09There is no blurring in portrait mode.
12:11The bokeh effect.
12:12We are not smoothed.
12:13We are not beautified.
12:14And the colorimetry is well respected.
12:16So we're onto something very good.
12:18Now, in terms of photos, you will be able to zoom in up to x8.
12:22No, no, I have pictures in front of me.
12:24Once and twice, there is no problem.
12:26From the 4th time onwards, there is noise in the image.
12:29It's not very clean.
12:30And from 8 times, there, it's just not...
12:33There you go, there's a lot of noise in the image.
12:34We know once again, you will be able to take photos at the moment.
12:38This is not what you are going to use, for example, for a guided tour, obviously.
12:42But you will be able to film up to 4K 30 fps.
12:45So here, there is a choice that has been made.
12:47I didn't really understand it.
12:48We put 1080p 30 fps and 4K 30 fps, but there is no 60 fps.
12:52Yeah, it's a little bit of a shame.
12:54I would have preferred, almost, to have a 1080p 60 fps.
12:57Brief.
12:58In any case, whether it's 1080p 30 fps, we have a video that is stable with very good colorimetry.
13:03We are on to something very beautiful.
13:05And in 4K, there too, we have a good 4K 30 fps which is stable.
13:09There's no jerkiness or anything.
13:11It's something very clean.
13:12You understand, this is not what we are going to use to take photos.
13:14But it's always nice when you have your tablet in hand, playing a little game or something.
13:18And that our kid or our wife or whatever or our partner is doing something stupid.
13:24Hop, we switch to the camera.
13:26We take this as a souvenir.
13:28And there it is, done.
13:29An 8000 mAh battery, 45W 2.0 charging from Samsung.
13:34It will take 1 hour 37 minutes to fully charge it when it is completely dead.
13:39If you charge it to the remaining 20%, count 1h05, more or less.
13:42We're on to something pretty clean, though.
13:44Now, in terms of autonomy, in continuous video, I was able to hold 16h53, which I think is still not bad at all.
13:53Well, we had the brightness set to more or less 40%.
13:55We were on a 4K video.
13:58In short, we had something pretty nice.
14:01Now, regarding everyday use, well, there, in fact, you will be able to last your little week.
14:06You know, if you stupidly use it in the evening, you come home, you check your emails, you watch a little YouTube video in bed, etc.
14:14There will be no problem there.
14:15Please note that after a week, you will need to recharge your battery.
14:18I found this tablet on sale, the 128GB at €469 on Amazon.
14:24And you should know that the price climbs beyond €600, €629 for the 256GB version.
14:30Of course, we are looking at high-end prices.
14:33Samsung is in the high end.
14:35We knew it, so their mid-range is high-end.
14:38In short, what faults can we find on this tablet?
14:41The main drawback for me is that it's a shame that we don't have an AMOLED panel.
14:46So, I'm not asking for a dynamic AMOLED 2X, but I still expected to have a small AMOLED.
14:50That would have been quite nice.
14:51Although, this IPS LCD, as I said, does its job very, very well.
14:55The second little point, still concerning the screen, we are on 90Hz, sorry, and I would have liked to have 120Hz.
15:03It would have been a little nicer.
15:04Especially when we see that the competition is on the ball and is still releasing 144Hz tablets.
15:10Samsung, we have to fight against this.
15:13I know it's not easy, but here it is.
15:15The last point, is it a bad point, is it a good point?
15:18This is the 45W.
15:20It doesn't bother me.
15:21Samsung is always said to have slow charging with 45W.
15:24And yet, I can tell you that the S25 Ultra charges quite quickly.
15:28I don't see.
15:30I'm working, I plug it in and hey presto, it's 100% charged.
15:33And I say to myself, hey, not an hour has generally passed.
15:37I don't mind the 45W charging that much.
15:39But I have to put it there because I know some people will complain.
15:43Alongside this, we have a tablet that is high-end.
15:46And yeah, 7 years of updates.
15:47You're going to get Android 15.
15:49You will have finishing qualities that are impeccable.
15:52The screen, despite being IPS, is very very good.
15:55You will have a tablet with which you can draw.
15:58A tablet you can play with.
16:00Because yes, I know, some will criticize the Exynos.
16:03But he still does his job well.
16:05And I have to admit, I know there are Exynos haters out there.
16:10But I repeat myself again, any hardware under Exynos that I have tested or that I personally have,
16:16there is no problem.
16:17Whether it is overheating or overconsumption of energy, etc.
16:21These are generally small processors that do their job well.
16:24Quite simply, even if it lacks a little power.
16:27It's true.
16:27In any case, we have a tablet that does its job well.
16:30I still want to add that the sound is not bad due to the fact that there are two speakers.
16:35And then, the little bonus is that you can also insert a micro SD card to expand the memory.
16:40I know some people like that.
16:42So that must be reported too.
16:43Tell me in the comments what you think of this tablet.
16:46Let me know in the comments if you would be willing to buy it.
16:48Don't forget, of course, to give me a thumbs up and subscribe.
16:52We will test the S10 FE Plus in another video.
16:56In my opinion, it will be a little shorter because it is even spec, obviously.
17:00Come on, bye.
